Priority?

everyone who gets a date, please post order confirmation date and priority please. Ty

Confirmation was actually 10/16 and priority was 19. Was emailed directly by my sales rep with the info

Priority means nothing when you have no VIN. Only a factor when it comes time to build.

Strangely enough, I have not received any emails from Ford directly. Not when I ordered or the delay email. Only time I’ve heard anything is through the sales rep working with me

Ford, like GM, does not stockpile parts. The storage costs are too high. Car companies do Just In TIme (JIT) for most of the components.

JIT only works if you have a functional supply chain… which we haven’t had since January of 2020. If you don’t think they’re hoarding parts then you are mistaken.

Also, what do you think costs more?: leasing an offsite warehouse for parts so that you can have continuous and seamless production OR being behind thousands of units with days (if not weeks) of downtime due to parts availability.

seems like the HP being scheduled are all Recaro seats... not the standard heated/cooled seats.

anyone getting scheduled with HP, standard non-recaro seats, and tremec???

Ford really dropped the ball on this if it has to do with heated seats. Lets not build the $60k car over a chip...
