Got to bring her home this evening! Can't wait to see the paint in full sun but initial impressions are that I'm even happier with the color than my flat GB 350. And she's all fully wrapped up in PPF so hopefully this should remain immaculate for a long while, even with some track use.

Thank you. We are looking at Sherpa. Get it done never called us back.
i used Montway who i used once before for enclosed shipping from IL to AZ. that was a flawless process back in 2018. this time around had a few hiccups. it took 3 tries to find a carrier.

the 2nd attempt actually showed up to Granger, tried to load the car, but could not. said it was too low. the car is only 4.5" off the ground but in terms of sports cars that is pretty average. Montway did not ask me the right questions nor prep that carrier. once i raised hell and asked to cancel they sorted it out. Montway called Granger, got pics of the car, and all the details they needed. they quickly found a 3rd carrier who was able to load and deliver the car.

if i had to do it again i would go with enclosed. my car was mess when it got here. it was covered in crap from sitting at the rail yard for 3 weeks, 2 weeks at the dealer, then 1500 miles on a trailer. it showed up at 9pm at night too so inspecting it was hard in the sense i could not really tell what was under all the damn dirt, dust, crap.

buying a car in this manner is risky. mine has two paint defects from Ford that Granger noted, but failed to tell me about prior to completing the purchase. my roof has had some sort of paint work done to it on the driver side plus scuff marks on the pass side.

AND the driver front wheel has damage from what was clearly a flat Cup 2 at some point. someone carelessly took off the wheel and damaged the rim with socket. the tire had an interior blister that comes from driving on it while flat. you can not use a Cup 2 with a blister unless you enjoy risking your life.

Granger has ghosted me when i asked them about this issue.

Montway with my '90 GT was great, but with the Mach, it was troublesome as well. I went enclosed, but they gouged out some sidewall on the tire and some of the wheel. Thankfully they got with their contracted carrier and I got some reimbursement, but man... It was rough. A couple of other little things here and there... Hope I don't have to do the shipping game again but in the end, worth it.

It s always a gamble . I shipped 2 Porsche s. One from NY to Cali. So I understand you call the company and then they just put it out for bid. (that s how mine worked). I was lucky on mine I guess. Both times an enclosed trailer showed up on time. I took pictures of it being loaded and sent it to the buyer. Glad too see all the M1 going to new homes, enjoy! It is exciting!

Well Iā€™m happy to say, after 9 months, 5 days, 8hrs, and 38 mins, I finally took delivery of my Mach 1!! It was a tough journey that tested my patience at every turn, but in the end well worth with it. The only thing that went smooth was ordering it and doing the paperwork. Granger Ford was a pleasure to deal with. Ford and the shipping was a nightmare. In the end, itā€™s all worth with it. Thanks to everyone for all the info and support these last few months! It was a great ride that will make a good story to tell in the end. I hope all of you still waiting get your cars eventually.

This thread is dwindling! My car finally arrived at Granger last Tuesday, I wanted to pick it up yesterday but they said it wouldnā€™t be ready yet. Heading up Thursday to pick it up Friday. Chassis N4654.

I had an Azure Blue ā€˜03 Mach as a daily driver and loved that car. I even met my husband of almost 16 years on the Mach 1 Registry (he had a black one)! Several years ago, I sold the car to start a small business. At the time I just wanted to get out of the corporate world and replace my income with the new business, but 10 years later we have multiple brick & mortar locations and have been very blessed. In some silly little way I go back to my beloved blue Mach as having contributed to our success, and Iā€™m so excited to replace it. This one will be a keeper!

Even though it will look like all your other HP Grabber cars, I will post pictures anyway because there are many like it but this one is mine. šŸ˜Ž

I am not chasing them down. I gave them a chance to respond in a proper fashion. I will make sure all my reviews and opinions of Granger reflect my full experience.
