Based on the posts I see here I am not very optimistic of seeing this car built this year. My deadline is 6 months if not I'll go with a used GT350.

Finally got an update from Ford! Four (4) months after order was placed, I received my VIN# and production date! My car will be built on the week of September 12th (same week as gen 7 reveal, LOL) Very excited to see things finally materializing. Still keeping my fingers crossed as I have seen how many people have had their production dates pushed back. But at least now I know for sure that the car will get built at some point!

Ford performance said delivery date was September 12/18th and the dealer is saying August 24th . We will see hopefully the 24th lol

I have 2/2 confirmed order with Granger. 700a, 6spd, non-recaro and non-HP car… got the same email. At least I’m not worried about the cup 2 cut off 🫤

Luckily i didn’t option the HP (because i couldn’t) but i’m assuming ford may go crazy with scheduling HPs to build them before the cutoff, leaving me and the rest of my non-hp brethren for later. But would that mark the time ford would start canceling orders?

Well, that just ruined my day. I already have my winter tires and rims on order. Guess I can use them on my current ride… I should just suck it up and buy something off the lot

I was going to order through Autofair in Oct 2021, but at the time the salesman told me it would be $5k over MSRP to place the order. Said no thanks.

Well I guess they changed their tune on that. I called Mcfarland ford and they wanted $5000 over msrp. At Autofair they told me MSRP but if there was one on the floor it would be $2500 over and if they had a GT 500 it would be around $25000 over.

My long wait it finally over...
I picked up my Mach 1 from Granger yesterday 8-22. Whole process took about 25 minutes start to finish. Excellent job by Ashleigh and Shelby at Granger.

~ 250 mile drive back home. I went on all secondary roads with many of towns and stops, for the initial break in... I am loving it so far...
