I figure I will not see that car until late July or August, especially since shipping the cars from flat rock is not moving well. One thing to note about when the cars get on one of the Class 1’s (freight trains for you non rail people) for shipping to dealers, the train does not leave until the unit trains are full. Meaning all the cargo from other shippers have to be included for a full unit to deliver. They are not going to lose money and diesel for an empty train set.
yup there have been people here waiting WEEKS for the trains to just leave the station.

I was thinking the same thing, it gets on the line to sit for 2 weeks.

I am at a year. I Was supposed to be built next week. guess that'snot happening now. from what it seems, my car is halfway down the assembly line with some parts on and some parts not. nota good feeling TBH.....even worse than a monday or friday car.
My fear as well, with a June 27th build week.

My 22 order looks like it got moved to May 30th. Still no VIN and coming up on a full year wait. I think I'd have probably given up by now if I didn't get my 21 Mach 1 since my last ordered Mach 1 had a VIN and still got canceled so I don't really believe any of these emails I'm getting. It is feeling like 2021 all over again.

I'm aware order books on some Ford models have been closed. I surprised Ford has not closed the order books on some Mustang types, if not for all Mustangs. I know they are still producing cars, but there seem to be soo many unfilled orders, delays, etc. I can't begin to understand the limits of coming in every day and attempting to ensure the countless bits arrive to assemble something. Still, seems like if they scaled back more, they'd possibly have a more consistent albeit lower output. To Ford's benefit, I'd think slow and steady would be more profitable and less stressful than the current start/stop environment.

My build date is still 6/27/22 and Ford did give me a VIN number. Your build date is before mine but no VIN number yet? I think I read in the past some 2021 builds got VIN numbers but the cars
were never build and got cancelled.

Berkshire Hathaway and their trains are a joke. Rail service sucked well before this supply chain stuff. They need to get customers cars on trucks and delivered to dealers rather than wait for unit trains to fill up. Not one to be political but one thing we learned the past few years is the sheer incompetence of this administration. If there manufacturers of chips were in the US we would be fine. But when we rely on China for almost all manufacturing this is what we get. As always it’s the consumers who are left holding the bag every time. Sad.

Yep, no VIN. This is a re-order from early October in 21. Even though I got my deposit back, I guess Granger wanted the allocation. I hope it does get built so someone can get a loaded FJG manual at MSRP at least.

I got pushed back to May 23 from May 9. Original order placed June 15. I am right there with you. Anticipating it will be a year from the initial order.
OK, now I guess I'll be happy as heck to get mine before football season, else I'll have to check out a Hawkeye's game on our way home.

I don't understand. You have a 2021, did you give up the 2022 MY order you made in October? If so, Granger is hanging on to it, and you are still getting the emails from Ford? Strange it doesn't have a VIN, as everyone I know that has a build week scheduled has a VIN to go with.

That would be a fun stop. I hear their home games are fun.

Looks like I do have a VIN after all. Yes, I am still getting emails about my order from Ford. I'm experiencing the pain of what I would have gone through had I not lucked out buying mine. No window sticker yet either.
