I remember several of us having our orders moved to the week of September 27, has anyone else contacted Ford performance to see if their cars have been built also?
FP rep shows the car was complete as of 9pm last night, 3-10 days for quality control, then on the rails to CO for a late Oct' delivery!

y'all lucky sobs'. granted, y'all ordered alot earlier than I did, like 2-3 months I think right? and im about a month behind inbuild date. I am just glad we are seeing stuff finally moving again, lots of cars seem to be getting built now, and quickly.

😅😅 My confirmation date was 03/29, to be honest I still have trepidations that my dealer is going to try something shifty, they just got another Mach 1 HP in last week that was listed as "Special Order" then suddenly had a negative review post up about them hiking the price last minute. The review has since vanished from Google, but they still have the car on the lot with a $5k ADM and $1500 Dealer Handling Fee. Not sure what happened, I do have signed paperwork with my offer and everything in place, but my understanding is it is still up to the dealer to honor at the end of the day, and if they think they can move it with the ADM then why would they sell it at 2% under MSRP.

If they even think of trying that you better plaster their name all over this forum! Would be a real shame if they started getting phone calls/emails from multiple people letting them know that not only will they never do business with them but will make sure everyone they know avoids them as well

agreed, if they try to pull something shady, let us know. and don't let that review get pulled when you place it either, or keep putting it up. If they can't stick to their word, they need to get called out and shut down

Probably just one of the many dealers who had an employee "special order" one just to get it in. Would be shocked if they didn't honor your deal, as you could go open a complaint case with Ford against them.

I haven't told the dealer yet, probably won't unless solicited, but I already put an order in for a Mach E gt fully loaded with their local competitor, and have one more car in the budget by 05/2022 that they won't be getting purely on their lack of quality sales experience.

Just got the famous "your vehicle has been built" email from Ford. Hoping you all get yours soon! It says delivery to dealer between Oct 8 and 14, that's pretty fast but then again we are only about 5 hours from Flat Rock. Window sticker says convoy, not rail.

Have seen a few posts over the past couple months of people saying that the long wait was worth it. Apparently it was worth waiting for to me as well. I seriously considered buying a used GT350, and to a lesser extent a new Camaro 1LE, over the summer, but could never get over the thought of fast forwarding to December and seeing some local schmuck driving around in the Mach 1 that I ordered but was too impatient to wait for.

I bowed out of the waiting game, ended up getting a gt500 that fate made work perfectly for me, but I need to see you guys get your Mach 1's. I still check in here to follow y'alls progress. Especially Mikepol2 lol. I really need to see him get his. I finally saw a black mach 1 drive by me the other week and it still looks just as perfect as when I saw the first image on the computer. I have no regrets with my shelby, but if I had the money to get a 2nd car right now (and no guessing game on the wait from ford) I would hands down get my mach 1 I ordered.

Your painful journey in glorious graphic notation.

well, if you can look at a pile of numbers and intuit business-useful trends and analyses then more power to ya. Some of us with lesser minds need the assistance of data visualization to experience the all-too-elusive "a Ha!" moment.

That graph is not too promising for those of us still waiting unless the dynamic s have changed and Mike s graph means nothing to what s happening NOW. I mean if I get pushed back like he did I wouldn't get my 2021 car until 1/2 way thru 2022. So we would have to know if the trend has changed and I d guess it has, but who knows?
I m still not at aha, LOL
