I kind of feel like, and this is no disrespect to any GT owner (previous GT owner myself), they are great cars, but it would be a lot easier to find a GT you like if you get the M1 and change your mind, than to get a GT first and then want to find a M1.I might need that
Looks like a good company and competitive price. Anyone in Northern or Southern California that may be getting a car by December? Maybe we can arrange to have a group delivery. Imagine the transporter full of Mach 1 cars from GrangerThe shipping company finally picked mine up from Granger. I should have it very soon.![]()
what Mach 1 specs did you order?I might need that
Not really any different than the ford transporters heading to granger lol nothing but machLooks like a good company and competitive price. Go back and look at all of the pictures posted of silver Mach 1’sOrders are as follows:
Mach 1 Premium
A10
Red Painted Calipers
Upgraded Wheels
Iconic Silver
GT Premium Performance Pack
A10
Carbon Fiber Sports Interior package
Magneride
Active Exhaust
Oxford White (And dealer is going to paint mirrors, roof, and spoiler black, with black badges)
The Performance Pack is through my local dealer and I am getting a Lifetime Powertrain. The Mach 1 is 9 hours away at Chapman Ford.
Go back and look at all of the pictures posted of silver Mach 1’sHard to beat that. Lifetime powertrain warranty would be nice. I know I’m biased but I would stick with the Mach 1. The white gt is a nice car no doubt but I like cars that are a little more unique that you’re not likely to see another one around.
I’m struggling to see the argument for the gt even more now……..Also mention that less than $1000 separates the two vehicles, mainly because the 4% under invoice price I received on the Mach 1

I agree. A lot of the testers found the Shelby parts in the Mach 1 are not just parts bins but fine tuned by Ford engineers. That was what sold me for the Mach 1 (I originally was thinking of a GT with the GT performance package and magneride just because I also wanted adaptive cruise control). I gladly forego of the adaptive cruise control for the Shelby suspension parts.I’m struggling to see the argument for the gt even more now……..
yeah, the reviews have convinced me I made the right decision. seems most went into the car expecting an overpriced mustang, a let down compared to the GT350. and came out saying it is a capable track car, while not as inspiring and unique as the GT350, but is more streetable than the 350, and without the engine concerns.I agree. You’ll love daily driving it. Sometimes I almost wish I had a longer drive to work so I’d have an excuse to drive it. If you’re worried about get some PPF and ceramic.I think a couple things bother me. It’s got to be my daily, car seems to nice to be a daily and I can’t picture myself driving it daily.
And I’m not fan of the digital cluster. I’m in the minority on that. But I prefer the classic analog gauges
But I’m trying not to let that bother me
I really dislike the analog gauge setup on the Mustang. For comparison here is the dash on the Mustang v my MX-5:You’ll love daily driving it. Sometimes I almost wish I had a longer drive to work so I’d have an excuse to drive it. If you’re worried about get some PPF and ceramic.
I wasn’t a big fan of the digital cluster until I got my car and now I really like it. Now I look at the analog setup as very dated looking.
Absolutely. Of all the digital dashes I saw in various performance cars like BMW or Audi, I like Mustang's most. Clean look, different design modes, customization of everything. It looks great. Now I look at the analog setup as very dated looking.
