If not for Granger, it would not be that I would have an M1 either. I’m incredibly thankful. As a Ford shareholder, Ford should have had a program for enthusiasts and, in my humble opinion, Granger should run it. There is no reason a Ford or Mustang enthusiast who has document owned these vehicles for years and to whom these vehicles are such an important part of their lives should have to be subject to this process of a game of chance. Allocations for cars like this should be based on the customer history not the dealer. Thank you Granger for making mine a possibility. Ford may make the car, but it’s been Granger that made it so they got into the hands of those who really wanted them. BTW, Hey Ford, you may want to remind the Florida dealers that Ford makes another “Mach” and it isn’t an “E”. Only one dealer even knew what an M1 is….. That may be a good place to start.

I hope you guys are all able to hold out and not cancel. Mine took almost 7 months and was delayed 15 times, but now having it, I am so happy I didn't cave and buy a GT350 or something else. It's easy to armchair quarterback and say "don't worry you'll get it" because who knows these days, but hard to imagine that you'd be this close and have your orders cancelled. I would just encourage you all to hang in there as long as you possibly can. It's just a friggin' great car. And don't forget, you'll have one of about 6,000 with 480 hp  , the 2022's are 470. Nobody would ever notice the difference but if/when it's time to sell that will attract some buyers.

Regarding the M3/M4, my neighbor across the street has had 3 of them so I've had a chance to evaluate multiple platforms. Great performance, and if you are into techie stuff, they have lots of interior electronics. But to me they are a little more sterile or vanilla than Mustangs. They are like fast Camrys. His current M4 is modded with a tune and louder exhaust and it's fast as hell but sounds like a ricer (although I'd never hurt his feelings and tell him that). If it was a DD maybe it would make more sense, but there is no way I'd ever own one, even for the same price as the Mach 1.

If not for the discounts Granger @dealerinsider offered I wouldn’t be getting a Mach 1 either.

dealers around me are charging ADM on mustangs and won’t budge one nickel off MSRP

I just got a new delay email. 11/8 to now 12/6. I'm getting pretty disappointed now.
o_O I just checked, no new emails. same build except color/appearance package. I wonder if that is causing a delay now? and why?

I'm not too much further than you guys on the build dates. 5/14 order, 700a, elite, handling, nav, appearance pack. Got the Nov 8th email so I'm assuming I'm a Nov 3rd build. I didn't call again. I don't want to pester those guys. I know the date is getting close.
Who did you order from?

Got the dreaded update again. Went from build day of October 29 to now scheduled week of November 28. I guess Christmas present lol  In all seriousness though it's a tough pill to swallow when it was ordered in March 😔
