I'm not too much further than you guys on the build dates. 5/14 order, 700a, elite, handling, nav, appearance pack. Got the Nov 8th email so I'm assuming I'm a Nov 3rd build. I didn't call again. I don't want to pester those guys. I know the date is getting close.

My friend works at the BMW dealer locally. We just took an M4 out for a test. I have to say, the car exudes quality and was a blast to be in. Love mustangs, but I can’t pinpoint what makes the M4 seem so refined. I think it’s the materials.

I bet Granger could get you a reasonably optioned GT500 for about the same price as an M4. I think I read that you could order a GT500 for MSRP there at one point. I cannot make any guarantees that they can or will still make such a deal. Still have to wait though.

I hope they can. They're catching some shit from Ford at the moment.

The M1 is a whole different car. For me, the M4 wouldn’t do it, but it is still a very nice car.

Just got an email moving me up a week. Called FP this morning and it was production day of 11/08 when last week’s email said week of 11/15.

now tonight it says week of 11/08, usually when I call FP it’s a week earlier than the email. I’m curious if my date changed from this morning

Why is Granger catching it from Ford?
issues with Bronco reservations. Granger, and a few others, have a 'large' proportion of the bronco reservations, like 2-3% from 5ish dealers out of 3000.

basically, the large dealers are bitching because granger and others who are open and honest (and providing good pricing) are getting a larger share of the orders than dealers in LA, and NYC, and H-town, and elsewhere, so they bitched to daddy Ford, and Ford came down on their side.

I 'get' both sides, but I do not agree with the folks on the allocation side. IF I, or you, or any other customer custom orders a car, it should have priority over any dealer order regardless of model, or relation to model release. If I order a F-150 today, it SHOULD be put ahead of dealer stock orders. And no dealer should be punished or limited from customer orders, as long as they are real customer orders.

I do not even agree with Fords decision from their point of view. they are shooting themselves in the foot, and it should not matter to them if some dealers cannot get dealer stock to charge ADM on, vs other dealers ordering 1000 customer orders at deep discounts. Because Ford is going to make the same from both dealers, so fuck it. whoever orders first gets the orders. whatever.

I just got a new delay email. 11/8 to now 12/6. I'm getting pretty disappointed now.

Where did you hear all of this?! That’s wild.
does anyone from Ford read this forum? If so, please print out my post and deliver a copy to every slime ball accountant and corporate asshole you can find. The reason I have a Mach 1 in my garage is BECAUSE of granger Ford. Your dealer network sucks balls. If they had not stepped up and sold me this car I would not have a ford in my stable. Every single dealer within 500 miles of me is garbage. They don’t know shit about what they sell. They are rude. And they can’t spell customer service let alone practice it. Punishing a dealer that is this popular with the customer base? LOL. Because a bunch of shit tier dealers can’t convince the locals to buy cars with absurd adm’s and instead they shop elsewhere? Good thing Ford saved some Broncos for them and didn’t let granger sell them. I enjoy week after week the two closest dealers to me driving by and seeing their poorly optioned Broncos sinking into the concrete as they cling to the pipe dream that some day, someone dumber than them is going to come by and pay $15k over msrp for a 4 cyl. I wonder how many business degrees it took Ford hiring to come up with that plan. Dumb mf’ers.

good thing granger has a dodge/jeep dealer as well. Maybe my next car will be something dumb with a hellcat motor stuffed in it instead of a ford. Apparently ford doesn’t want to sell cars as bad as other manufacturers. Did some dealers get their feelings hurt that they can’t move product as well as the competition? Good thing some woke asshole at ford was able to make things “fair” for everyone. Sounds like the commies have invaded corporate at ford amongst everything else in this country. And I was having such a wonderful night before reading your post @Jimmy Dean

Wow...thanks for sharing. It seems Granger is being penalized for working harder (and smarter) on behalf of the customer while of course benefiting their business...win/win scenario.

Personally, here I am in western Washington State, a long, long way from Iowa. I'm ordering sight unseen a car that I've never driven, nor even seen in person, from a dealer I've never been to, that will require me to drive my new car (my choice) a little over 1,800 miles home....all because of this 6g website and the high regard given to Granger and Chapman for their unbeatable pricing and customer service.

I did reach out to several local dealers here in the Seattle metro area, mentioning the deal offered by Granger, and never heard a response back from any of them. They made my decision easy.
