2020 qa1 gt350 drive shaft

Does anybody know if a QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft will work on a 2019 or 2020 GT 350? I called QA one because their website only shows 15-18 and they couldn’t give a definitive answer. They said that they haven’t tried it on a 19 or 20 car so that’s why their website still says 15 through 18. Didn’t know if there was some variation between gen1 and gen2 motors and how the transmission output shaft to differential mount? I don’t want to find out there’s different tolerances.

Interesting they couldn't support your request any better than that. As a QA1 owner, and thinking about the car itself, I can't come up with a single dang reason why there would/should be any differences at all. Should be identical. I know if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on this one. But, never hurts to ask.

In case you decide you want it I have a QA1 SFI rated one that was on the car for less than 250 miles that I am thinking to let go.

I've been very happy with mine. I don't have numbers, but it feels a bit quicker than when I had the stock driveshaft.

Same. Bang for the buck?? Meh. Can you feel it seat of the pants? Yes. It just feels like the engine spins up faster. Easier, with less effort. Hard to explain.

This is pretty accurate. I did mine with an fi setup, clutch, and other mods in one shot. The QA1 is a very nice driveshaft. Build quality is excellent.

How is the vibration on these? I think mine is out of balance, once it gets to a certain speed I can feel the vibration not sure if is coming from the shaft or wheels or both. Bought the car used, one owner but who knows how he drove it.

I would have yours checked out. I have never had any vibration issues after I installed mine.

As @xr4x4ti found out, there are Different diffs on the GTs for different years. His pinion flange was well out of round as explained in his video.

On a QA1? That would be odd. You installed it? If you didn’t, there’d be no way to know for sure short of swapping back in the stock one and see what happens. DDS is known to vibrate. Had one and it did. Removed it for the QA1 and it does not.

Lucky for us you’re in the 350 section and ours are the same.
