Dog thread? Here's both of our rescues...
  2. What do y’all do for a living?

Pilot here, but don't tell my mom, she thinks I'm a piano player in a whorehouse.
  3. Installed my new FP GT350 wheel and have deadspots on horn/issues now? anyone else?

Love those red belts. Where did you get them?
  4. Shelby Widebody finally finished!

What's that rear size wheel and tire? Looks badass!
  5. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Curious what the Hooker Blackheart system is. Guess they don't make it anymore? There wasn't anything listed on their website. Edit: Wonder if it's something with their website. Looked for a Mustang GT and got "No items match". But the picture of the webpage has a Mustang at the top.
  6. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Just a small amount on the backs of the pads in the indentions where the pistons contact, along the top between the spring and the pad, and along the side of the pad between the backing plate and the caliper. Honestly, I think just cleaning all the dust and gunk is probably a bigger deal. My...
  7. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Nope. But, to be fair, I only put about 10-12 miles on it afterwards.
  8. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Brakes were squeaking pretty bad under light braking (heavy braking was quiet), so I decided it was time to pull the calipers and pads apart, clean them and add caliper grease. Figured while I was at it, I'd add some J&M stainless hoses and OPR caliper studs.
  9. GT350 with GT500 Rear Bumoer

Is the reason for doing this to add aftermarket or different exhaust tips?
  10. why did ford leave out an aux-in?

I've put FLAC files on a USB and then listened to them directly. It does sound slightly better than the same FLAC files though android auto. Not sure you're going to get more than redbook quality out of the standard audio though.
  11. Salvage GT350 Build

Man, if that was mine, I'd find a convertible with a blown motor and move everything over.
  12. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

As it turns out, I had thought of that. I roll with mine all the way down. Though, adjusting the brightness only works for the infotainment screen. The gauges are still too dark compared to the center gauge screen (and infotainment screen on full dim). After some google-fu, it seems that...
  13. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

LOL. The point of buying this car was so I had a commuter.
  14. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

Search is all over the place with gauges too bright or not bright enough. Found that brightness is greyed out when the lights are off, which was a SYNC3.4 update. There might be something in the BMC. The search continues.
  15. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

Well, there's probably not an issue with the brightness of the newer gauges.
  16. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

It's not an eyesight thing. My eyes are fine...I'm a pilot. :D It's that the LCDs are at a different level of brightness relative to the actual round gauges. It's a GT350 so only color is white. Was thinking (hoping) there might be some adjustment (turn up the gauges or turn down the...
  17. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

Yeah, mine's the opposite. I feel like I'm going to get a sunburn on my face when they're up full bright at night.
  18. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

It's more that the gauge lights are too dim relative to the LCD screens.
  19. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

It does have a night setting, which does help. But it doesn't control brightness. Brightness is greyed out. And, there's no adjustment for the center LCD screen (other than dimming everything). The only lighting adjustment in the center LED is the autolamp delay.
