Took my car in to a trusted local exhaust shop this morning, took them an hour to cut out the resonator and install an X-pipe for a total cost of $108 to include taxes.

Got a little more volume and the sound that is rightfully associated with the X-pipe. Happy to have spent less than one of the kits and didn’t have to break out the jack stands.

Hey man, I personally like it a lot. The stock exhaust keeps the sound pretty deep surprisingly enough.

I recently checked out a friends ā€˜15 that has a Corsa Extreme and he thought I had installed an aftermarket exhaust when I drove up. It sounds good enough I’m not sure I’m going to change it.

You will change it. I started out the same way with an Xpipe Resonator delete. Lasted about a few weeks until i ditched the rear mufflers for something better. Plus, the stock tips don’t fill the rear cutouts very well and look cheap.

We will see. If I can install active exhaust on it then definitely yes.

Agree on the look of the stock mufflers and tips but they do sounds great! Also just installed a Roush X pipe and loving it. I didn't think I would change the stock setup when I got the car but 1900 miles later and did this. I'm sure after another couple thousand miles I'll be looking at some axle backs. Still no clue what I'll go with. I LOVE the Roush sound but the volume might be a bit much. Also sucks because sound clips on youtube never represent the actual sound.
