I think you're on to something here. The more + offset will fill in the gap making it more flush which in turn makes it appear to not have the gap.Its a very common setup and looks great, especially if you are going from stock to a properly flush +35 or +40 offset. The visual difference in the flush offset more than makes up for any tire height you're loosing.
What he said.I'm on 285/35R19 tires with a 19x10, as are a few hundred of us. Its a very common setup and looks great, especially if you are going from stock to a properly flush +35 or +40 offset. The visual difference in the flush offset more than makes up for any tire height you're loosing. I have zero point zero regrets going to a square 285/35R19 setup.
(FWIW, its only 0.8" difference, not a full 1.0", and thats about the difference between a bald PZero and a brand new tire with full tread anyway).
Steeda progressive springs. 1" in rear and 1 1/8" in front. Wheels are the SVE S350.The +40 offset looks really good.
1 inch drop on all 4 corners?
Those are Project6Gr 7-spoke in satin black from Need 4 Speed Motorsports (n4sm.com). 19x10 +35 square.NightmareMoon can you please tell me what wheels they are?
Do you get any scraping on the fender on hard bumps? Or do the tires still sit inside the wells enough to absorb the impact?Steeda progressive springs. 1" in rear and 1 1/8" in front. Wheels are the SVE S350.
That's absolutely perfect IMOWhat he said.

Have not had any scrapping. I do think they sit in just far enough to avoid. Of course I always avoid potholes and rough roads as best I can but no issues so far.Do you get any scraping on the fender on hard bumps? Or do the tires still sit inside the wells enough to absorb the impact?
My opinion agrees with yours. ThxThat's absolutely perfect IMO
I got the same wheels with the same offset. When you lowered your car did you end up getting camber plates? My opinion agrees with yours. Thx
I did install the Steeda camber plates. Folks are 50/50 on needing them with only a 1" drop but installed them anyway. I'm sure it made the alignment shop's job easier.I got the same wheels with the same offset. When you lowered your car did you end up getting camber plates?
