Procharger it’s just unfortunately overshadowed by some other systems when it comes to S550s. Doesn’t help the car is a little on the heavier side and a lot of people just regurgitate what they hear others say.

As we all know, the s550 and coyote engine is an incredible platform. Couple that with the awesome kit Procharger makes, its a win / win!

I have no doubt if the same guys going fast with other kits tried the same with a Procharger kit they would be equally successful. When turned up properly Procharger’s get nasty

Here is a comparison from the last time on the dyno with the D1X versus the F1A94. Few items to note. Hp and torque scaled differently so gains can be seen easier. 8in crank pulley on both setups, same dyno different days. Warmer on D1X day, baro pressure higher on F1A94 day.

D1X red lines, 4.25 pulley, 65600 impeller rpm.

F1A94 blue lines, 4.38 pulley, 83835 impeller rpm.

On these pulls, iat was lower on the f1a94. But make no mistake the D1X is a bad dude and i bet with a 4.0 or 3.85 it could have made 1240 or so. Keep in mind iat would rise though. It still wont touch the F1A94. Maybe @ProChargerTECH can add some insight.

The D-1X for sure can make some past its rated redline of the bearings. However, we recommend not doing that LOL. But she might have had another 100 in her or so.

Any info on parasitic losses? How much hp does it take to drive the F1A94 in the example above?

I sent out the converter to Circle D and heard back that it was all good. Standard refresh is all that was needed!

To recap, i currently have an iron housing 355 diff in the car, new exedy clutches, billet planetary and qa1 carbon drive shaft in hand. Got some super top secret forced induction related fab work coming up shortly. Ill build the trans at the same time. Stay tuned!
