But did the shifts show any wheel spin? Does it need to go to 5th if 4th can be legged out?
No wheel spin on shifts. If we run out 4th, may be shifting into 5th at the stripe. Right now its going into 5th at 1200ft.

One thing to note is that shifting into 5th isnt slowing the car down. I just want the shift to occur at a higher rpm so average HP through the run is higher. I know you understand that, just making the statement for all.

U trying to slow me down? LOL

Depending on what the car does with higher 4-5 shift rpm, good air and smaller pulley, i may move to a 4.09 gear.
HMMM I was thinking go to 3.55 and keep it out of 5th gear. You're on 28" radial right?

@Jay-rod427 with a good point, 5th may bring clutch pack slippage issues. 355 and staying in 4th may eliminate that. Similar how 10r folks try to stay out of 7th. That may the move.

I detailed the engine bay yesterday. Probably hit up some cruise ins untill good air comes around. Then time to go fast!!!

Fyi, this Pig Spit stuff is incredible. No affiliation with them at all. Unbiased opinion here. Not greasy and does not attract dust. Makes anything looks awesome. Wire loom, plastic, electrical connectors, rubber, literally anything under the hood. Spray on and walk away, dont even have to wipe it off.... Not sure what it is, but its not from Earth i know that.
