10R80 issue Mach 1

So I thought I'd share a recent issue i had with my 21 A10 Mach. It started shifting incredibly hard from 4th to 5th under light throttle, I mean it slammed into 5th. Under heavy throttle it would flare between 4th and 5th. I began experimenting with the other modes and going between drive and sport, finding it only did it in my mode and only with shifter in S. I finally fixed the issue by resetting my mode, now it shifts like butter. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else runs into this.

I’m having mine relearned on Monday, same issues. Keep you poated

Try selecting new options in my mode and make a new one. Fixed mine

Back from gearbox relearn and seeing great results, smoother gear changes on deceleration especially from 5th to 3rd. Happy days.

How'd you go about the relearn? FORscan or battery reconnect? I definitely need to get mine set.

Forscan relearn then drove the car for 30 mins going up and down the gears automatically, drove in normal mode all the time. Normal drive style, no racing. Gearshifts jumpy at first 10 mins then got better and better by the time I arrived back from the trip it was 100% better, 45 mins driving in total. Keeping the car now ;)

There were several TSBs for issues with 10R80 such as hard shifting, do you have the latest software and other stuff to fix any issues with shifting? Seems often people rely on magic and feelings instead of fixing it the proper way.

My 2022 had the tsb carried out one year after registration. 22/10/2023. Interestingly the gearbox oil was topped up 6 months prior to the tsb

IMHO, unless their was a design change from my 19 A10 and later, my QA1 works perfect. So, their must be an alighnment issue from the rear transmission to the front pinion, l would track it out. Good Luck to OP
