My 23 is sketchy, its a love hate relationship for me. Normal driving, I hate it. Wide open or with paddle its fantastic. Should have got the MT, but my wife has some medical limitations, and I wanted her to be able to enjoy it too.
Not too long ago I was on the highway with my Mach 1, and a Mach E GT came up beside me, in the front passenger seat was a young boy, guessing 10-12. He was pointing and saying something to his dad. Popped the car in track mode, down shift and ran it up to 90, then backed off back down to 60...
The hybrid part is interesting. I'm probably in the minority, but I like the idea of a four-door Mustang if they do it right. It worked for Porsche with the Panamera, plus I need something cool to replace my SHO with.
Interesting, mine did some incredibly harsh shifts in 5th the other day, checked for TSBs and found this. Seems like my dealer is going to drop the pan and check for silt.
My 23 Mach 1 goes in on Aug 13th for a very recent harsh shift in 5th gear when cold. Looked to see if there are any TSBs for it, turns out there is. Judging by the harshness of the shift and the wording of the TSB, probably getting a rebuild. Sigh.
I bought mine used, so I didn't get to configure, but I knew what I wanted. FJG or Grabber blue, 700A, and at the time the 10AT. HP was a nice to have too. My wife has a medical issue that causes her immense nerve and muscle pain through her legs and was concerned about her being able to push...
It's honestly not that bad, we've gone the last two years. We live in Northern Ohio, so usually the only iffy part is our weather. We drive and the last two years the weather has been great in TN. 50s in the AM 60s-80s in the day. It's a nice break from Ohio during that time of the year. Such...
Just throwing this out there, you might want to check out late March. There’s a big Mustang event in Sevierville, TN called Ponies in the Smokies. It has all kinds of activities, and several groups run drives ToD throughout the week.
We attended with a group called Red Mirror (they organize...
It's heartbreaking, for the longest time I was not a KB fan, mainly because I'm a Penske fan. When he moved to RCR, I was pretty sad for him not running as well, and then I started watching the videos he and his wife posted. I instantly became a fan, to see the person he was off the track...
You're right, I did a quick search using 500k FMV and 20k cash winnings.
~24% federal + ~4% state + ~2% local = ~30% total withheld initially (~$156k on $520k)
Yikes!
I'd move lol. I'm in Ohio where we pay initial sales tax and then registration which is like $50-$60 unless you own a hybrid/EV. $250 for hybrid, $500 for EV on top of the reg to make up for lack of fuel tax revenue. My brother has new M5 and was charged the $250 which made us both laugh...
I'm not a fan either, I personally think that Ford did a pretty good job with the styling of the Mach 1s to the point where I have trouble seeing any exterior add ons that I love. Mine is a Non-HP so I did change to Apex wheels, GT350 spoiler paint matched to the factory gray accents and the 4th...
It's interesting, I bought my Mach 1 used in 2024 for 49,000, had 5500 miles on it, I've put 21,000 on it and was offered by a dealer 47,000 in trade. The original window sticker was $64,030, so 26.5% is right on from MSRP to dealer in the last month, while I've only lost 4%ish. Not that it...
