It's not slop from Ford. It's normal. Some cars it never goes away, and is a result of the performance based nature of the car. You can change your alignment, and it will make a difference. At the cost of performance. Pick your poison.

Too many people want a factory race car to drive like a a regular Camry. Either you want performance, or you want comfort. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
True, I actually think at least the Mach 1 is very comfortable commuter. Perfect balance between comfort/performance imo.

The few folks I know who own an M1, including HP cars, say the same thing. Sucks OP is having to chase this down and makes me wonder if something else is up, like a bad bushing.
