10 speed auto appreciation thread

As someone, who really loves a manual, and has never had a sports car with anything else; I am really glad the A10 has fit the bill of a factory "performance" auto.

My on-order 22 Mach 1, is specified with an auto, due to having issues with my knees, I did not want to have the manual, then be forced to sell it because I could no longer enjoy the car.

For me it was knowing my limitations and the fact that this could be my last new gas powered Mustang, that I would want to drive and enjoy for years to come.

I have said this before and I’ll repeat it here. For the Mustang performance, as a daily driver, or fun track car, the MACH 1 nailed it.

It’s awesome that there is no wrong choice in this car. Best Automatic and Manual ever for a car you can drive daily or track.

It’s simply down to preference.

Hell, I enjoyed my ‘19 GT with the A10 but I actually love the ‘21 car more with the 6 speed. If only it was a better 6 speed transmission, lol.

I had an auto in my 2013 GT, and loved it. Couldn't get the A10 on my PP2, and that's what makes me want the Mach 1. If the PP2 had an A10, I'd be happy as a clam.

Its more of how often you need to adjust your stick. There are those that constantly need to fiddle with it, adjusting it to the left or right. And then there are those of us who set it and let it do its own thing.

I had the 10spd in my 18GT PP1 and absolutely loved it and recommend it to anyone who wants to drag race their car or if you like the sensation of ripping through multiple gears on curvy roads. The 10R80 is easily one of the better Torque Converter transmissions made now a days. But saying that when it came to order my Mach, I wanted the Tremec after driving a GT350R. If anyone hates on the 10spd or auto in general it's mostly them being insecure with themselves and their life choices. Haha

I have and was seriously impressed with it in Track mode!
I also tracked the Tremec and wow what an upgrade over my 15GT with MGW
