Exactly. People think you need to deform something in order to cause it to flex when that’s just not true at all. That thin excuse of a “bracket” is just another area where ford decided to be a cheap ass unfortunately.

Honestly if you like the stock shifter feel and throw, just get the Barton two post bracket, stainless clutch line, and change out the fluid. It made a world of difference for me, but I eventually went with MGW because I wanted a shorter throw.

This plus I also had to change out the fluid on mine and eventually needed a better clutch. But this was on my 2012 GT

You could always get one of the “touring” cat-back if you wanted a bit more sound, or even an axle-back. Glad to see you’re finally headed in the right direction.

You’re more patient than I am, that’s for damn sure, lol. Gloves would have came off when I saw the car wasn’t as described and modded all to hell.

Would be cool to see a nice build come from this, but the car should’ve never left the dealer that sold it in the condition it’s in. Good luck to whatever you decide, will be following to see what happens.

Could you still seek legal council for a dealer selling you a car with tampered emissions and the vehicle not being as advertised?

Yeah surprisingly dealerships didn’t have many of the DMG cars around my area. I had an order in for an Oxford white car, but they had slowed down production again so I wasn’t sure if it was gonna get built so I got this one. but I do like my grays

Yeah I agree black is done a lot but I have one of the few DMG 5.0s in my area so it already stands out. I don’t want to stand out even more. I just want a wider tire to help put the power down better while daily driving.
