So, thought I would see what kind of times 0-60 anyone has has seen using track aps.

I have had many 6M Mustangs and drag raced most at some time. As usual, getting out of the hole is always where serious times are lost. So, I practice my dead start on abandoned stretch of blacktop from time to time.

I found Launch Control did not give good times. So far, my best is 4.8 0-60. Stock tires and inflation. In "normal" mode, advancetrac off.

I know the 10 speed is much faster. I would love to see times others have attained. I am still working on the 0-60, hoping for 4.5 or better. The no lift shift also has helped a bunch. I fould wheel spin was necessary to keep the engine in the right RPM range.

4.4 is my best time on my AT, no prep...just a relatively flat straight road near my house. Normally I get 4.6. I am using drag strip mode but I don't mess with the traction control or any other "nannies." I have always wondered why this car cannot reach the advertised 3.9 that the 2018 Mustang GT with Michelin 4s and AT could. It has more HP...I don't think it is significantly heavier than that car. Love how drag strip mode shifts in this car though.

The 3.9 number is a number the "professionals" put out there. If I could actually see the magazine guys do this in video with a stock mustang, stock tires, stock air pressure, on the street, not a prepped track I would believe the numbers. My 18 10R80 on all stock stuff did 12.23 and I was still working on my 0-60. So I can believe high 11s.

Non Mach 1 I have done 0-60 in 4.5 sec in my manual 2020 GT. It took 4 attempts as I was stuck around 4.7-4.8. I'm sure you can get it lower.

Any technique that got you there?

I guess I should have been clearer. I am not surprised I don't get sub 4 as I know those advertised numbers are usually suspect...perfect day, perfect track sometimes with a rollout etc. etc. I guess I am surprised Ford doesn't advertise that same number for the Mach 1 with the auto. I did get a 4.3 today though on my attempt today. It is a little cooler here than it has been on my other drives.

I didn't use launch control. I took out the slack from the clutch, you do this by slowly letting out the clutch until you see the rpm drop a tad. I revved the motor to 3800-4000rpm and then launched and feathered the clutch. You have to take up the slack in the clutch or you end up shocking it causing excessive wheel spin. I still spun a tad, that s why I know I can whittle this down even more. Unfortunately with the tall 1st and 3.73 gears you have to abuse the clutch a tad. I feel 4.09 gears will help this tremendously.

Yes gearing would help immensely.

So an Edmunds review of the car is interesting. It puts the A10 0-60 time at 3.8 if the tester follows the popular one foot rollout many manufacturers use. Guess that matches up well to the 2018 GT A10 claim.

On normal tire pressures, normal street, nothing fancy. I've gotten 4.2 seconds 0-60 on my A10 19GT. This was on standard PP1 tires.

At this point i don't remember what settings i used besides advanced trac off. Track or Drag mode.

I could see my car doing sub 4's on a prepped surface and i balloon the fronts out and drop the rears down to 25ish.

Those 3.9 times are not on the street. Those are at the drag strip where the surface is sticky.

in drag mode hold traction control toggle for 10 sec turn off the intervention or it will hold back and short shift and even pause /nose over and take off again it really hurts your times ..got 4.0 on my 18 PP A10 in drag mode on street this is how i do it . also drive car get tires warm about 29-30 psi in back do a quick clean off stop .pre load 1800-2000 and roll your foot to the floor quick and smooth try not to shock the tire and it will haze through 1st hook in 2nd and pay attention because 3rd gear more often than not looses traction about 1.5 seconds after the shift and like to point you toward the wall !!!! drag mode is very unnerving on street tires on the street i rarely use it because its to violent without atleast a drag radial !!! enjoy your Mach 1 Guys im going to dealer to see one loaded up now in fighter jet grey !!!! A10

Could you show how? My best is currently 4.9 but normally hit 5.1 constantly in my 6 speed. What do u launch at? I have traction control off and launch at 3-4k rpms and even then I spin like crazy
