Now that you say that it does, but when I cot acted Shaftmasters a while ago, they said they were no longer building a ds for the 2018+ cars.
Doesn't surprise me. I had one for my 2017, and I always had problems with vibration.

Built just like Shaftmasters but isn’t. It’s a Dana/Spicer unit.

I've mailed steeda to check here in Europe what are the options for the Mach 1.

Quote:

Q: As far as I can see, these driveshafts are not compatible with the Mach 1 manual (Tremec gearbox). There's a GT350 model that fits the Mach 1. Is this driveshaft available in Europe, could it be ordered?

A: Hi unfortunately there are no options available for the Mach 1 as yet, and the GT350 compatible shafts don't work on the Mach 1.

So Mach 1 carbon driveshaft anyone?...

Yeah, that doesn’t seem right to me either. I’ll verify here in a couple weeks. Im about to order the QA1 for my M1. I’ll weigh the new ds as well as tge 2 piece and the bearing when I remove them.
Good deal. The "how much do things weigh" post and a few other postings have always listed the 10r80 stock DS as around 29lbs. The MT82 DS showed to weigh more at 36.2lbs.

I have debated getting a QA1 for my car. With the stock 10r80 DS weighing 29lbs and the QA1 CF weighing 23.5lbs, I'm just not sold on the potential improvement vs the cost. If I were needed something stronger for FI, this would be my move.

Do you happen to have any before/after acceleration data?
No, I don't. That was merely my unprofessional analysis.

Was there any more updates on the weight of the M1 drive shaft or how well the CF drive shafts are working? Would love to know more details.

Works like a champ! So much lighter than the 2 piece anchor and carrier bearing. The QA1 isn’t cheap but it’s been one of my favorite mods. Car feels more instantaneously responsive.

I second this evaluation of the QA 1. I also have it in my 2022 Mach 1. Still breaking in the car (only 400 miles), but love the way it handles and no Noise, Vibration, or Harshness (NVH). Weight reduction is significant over stock. I must confess though, I also have additional weight reduction from my brake rotors and forged rims, so my reduction in rotating mass will be lower than just installing a carbon fiber drive shaft.

Great DS. I've been 8.35 at 165 with a qa1. Smooth as glass. Have a carbon DSS unit with the th400 now, been 171 trap and it's smooth as well.

I don't have a Mach 1, but I'm my car the driveshaft was most certainly the one mod that is a must have. The difference was just so therapeutic to the acceleration. I have light weight forged rims also. The QA1 driveshaft is really nice. I would buy another without hesitating if needed.

Thanks, It seems like most of you have the 6-speed. The 6pseed DS is quite a bit heavier than the A10...anyone have it for their A10? I'm wondering how much of a difference it made for the A10.

Thanks

Yes
How do you like your CD DS? Do you daily drive?
Yes Sir! It made a major difference in acceleration and the overall feeling of the acceleration. It's hard to describe.
