My car has been exhibiting odd behavior during engine warm-up including complete rpm drop off during deceleration. I warm my car until oil pressure drops to normal and then drive easy (shift before 2500 using only light throttle) until oil temp is well within normal range. The last few days it has been a little colder and as I pull up to the first stop sign and engage the clutch the engine dies. First time this happened I just figured I did something not paying attention. This morning it happened again and since I was waiting can confirm it is not user error. Every dealer I have asked is saying they need my car upwards of a week. The fix is a simple PCM update that will take less than an hour. It is confirmed no codes are thrown by this problem either.

Has anyone else had this issue and had it fixed? It is near the end of season for me and I'm not about to lose my car for a week just so some dumbass can joy ride it. (Before any of you comment I have already caught someone in the act trying to play with my car at a shop).

sub'd, to remember to talk to my dealer about this...

And I'd call other dealers to find one that can work on it while you wait in the lobby. Doesn't sound like it takes long to fix.
