So the service advisor told me my car is taken apart. And there's a long list of issues with my car? Idk how I feel about that lol. I'm glad I took it in when I did

Took my 2015 PP GT on some very twisty mountain roads during Rally North America's Smoky Mountain Rally and drove them pretty hard, down shifted from 3rd to 2nd too many times to count and never had an issue like described.

I didn't read all the posts but I would think this would be related to Idle Air Control or Speed Sensor. I've never had anything like this happen. It's definitely a safety issue and hopefully your dealer can fix it.

I down shift all the time as you described and nothing like this has ever happened in my 2015 (12K miles) or happened in my 2011.

You're lucky I hope it doesn't happen to you especially doing canyon runs. Cause losing power while another car behind you hauling ass doesn't seem safe.

Let's say my car has this issue again. Would I fall under the lemon law? Because I'm reading up on the lemon law and it says that my car can be considered a lemon IF the issues with the car can cause serious injuries or death (hmmm I think turning off on the freeway can cause death or serious injury) and IF I've taken it in for 2 attempts to fix the same issue within either 18 months or 18,000 miles which ever come first.
