I'm in MD I went to Sheehy ford in Gaithersburg. they claimed no knowledge of any issue and to not trust what you read on the internet. They just recharged it filled it with UV dye.
At my dealer, the service writer smirked and said, "yeah, we know about the issue".

Got my car back Friday night. They had it 2 days. AC is working again. Something I noticed about my issue. Was that when this started happening my voltage dropped and would stay around high to mid 12 Volts. Now that I got the car back I am seeing 13.8 to 14.2 volts. I don't know if this is related at all. But just something I noticed.
Nothing strange going on with my voltage.

Had 1 screw left over lol. But no issue's with loose or rattling parts.

My guess is you are purging the hot air from the system by turning on the blower early
It happens on cold starts too sometimes.
It kinda feels like the interior temperature sensor is not reading the temperature correctly or maybe the evap core temperature is frozen?

 Wow time to find another dealership, it sounds to me.

How can they be so dismissive of such a huge issue? Are they just trying to downplay what a nightmare this has been for everyone Or worse, they really don't have any visibility to this issue and thus may not do a great job with the repair.

It's official. I'm picking up today my 2016 GT350 after the SECOND evap replacement (Part S) in just 3 months.

The service advisor admitted that a number of S550's are coming in for service for evap core leaks. She claims the dealer communicated to Ford specifically about my case because it's been allegedly the only one in her dealership with a multiple recurrence. I havent seen proof of this. And, I'm trusting the dealer actually changed the evap.

I still have two years left on my warranty before I become serious about either selling the car or suing to revoke the sale under our lemon laws.

Interesting you bring the EPA into the fold.Maybe Ford starts paying attention. In 2011 there was a class action against Ford from faulty evap cores in Fusions, I think. I worry myself about breathing Freon gases with leaks inside an airtight cabin. I may be overreacting and warranty coverage may be the real issue down the road. I would wish I could enjoy the car without worrying too much or the hassle.

Probably all of you folks in the US should start submitting this issue to the EPA. I don't know if we have a similar agency in Europe so that we start doing the same.

For what is worth, the second replacement evap was part Z which replaced the prior one S. Dealer said that during the past three months there have been multiple evap part changes.

I think this whole AC evaporator fiasco ranks up there pretty high on the cluster f*&k scale.

I actually submitted a form to the EPA yesterday sort of whistleblowing on Ford for ignoring hundreds of Mustangs with leaky cores.
All who have been affected by this should do the same!

Where's the contact info so folks can file?

The whole S550 lineage has been built by a bunch of cluster f*&ks; MANY issues have been prevalent from 2015 forward... It's BS and Ford Brass should be picketed at every one of their events for their lack of caring and continuing to let JUNK flow out of their factories.

It's not only the Evap core, it's MANY things:
Body panel alignments
Rear 3rd brake light/window alignment issues
Multiple Water leaks due to poor welding around windshield frame or rear window glass
Premature failure of engines
Premature failure of wheel bearings
The driveline vibe of which trans flanges, rear pinion flanges, driveshafts, axles and complete rear diffs are being replaced
Hood/body panel corrosion
Malfunctioning front seat cooling
Various documented interior rattles
Fires
Premature battery failures
A/C compressor failures
Oil cooler failures
IMRC plate failures
Throttle body failures
E-brake cable looses tension and rattles against trans tunnel
Poor upholstery both leather and cloth
Steering rack failures
Door latch recalls

Should I keep going?!?

I love driving this car but I'm not buying a Ford again after this.

It's a ford. My first domestic. My last? Probably not. It's a good car. I just don't want to own it. When my warranty is out, I'll shop around for the best lease deal between the camaro, challenger, charger or mustang.

I fixed my Mustang problems- DL vib, AC, rattles, etc by buying a Challenger. Night and day difference in the quality feel of the car and honestly, I really, really wanted the new Mustang badly when it came out since I've had about 10 previous Mustangs. What a disappointment. This stuff is coming back to haunt them. Challenger outsold Mustang and Camaro for the first time ever last month.

good to hear. im seriously considering charger/challenger, since they offer the best lease deals on their scat packs/hellcats
