Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

This isn't directly related to the S550 issue, but I found this interesting that 2014-2016 Chevy trucks are experiencing a similar vibration problem.

EXACTLY - and that my friends is WHY it's not engine related - not when the vehicle is placed in neutral and the vibe is STILL PRESENT at the coasting speed...

And the other thing I cannot fathom is WHY all of these Service Centers are not locating similar complaints within their systems or their internal forums (of which someone else in this thread posted excerpts from the Ford Interbal Forums with concerns posted by Ford Techs and Service Managers!!)

Doesn't OASIS log such similar global fixes/complaints?

I would imagine it would but they are probably being told to just deny the problem and tell us to live with it. Magically every dealer in my area has never heard of this. Can you file a lemon law claim if ford refuses to even try to fix the car?

I picked my 16 GT A6 after they replaced the driveshaft. Still the same so back it went to the dealer. They had put hose clamps on it as a temporary fix and it felt great. Just got a voicemail from the dealership saying ford told them to put the hose clamps back on. I mean it feels great with the clamps on but I hope they don't think it's a permanent fix.
I'm sure most have seen it but if you have the opportunity, check out A Faster Horse on Netflix. They say right on the documentary that the car has a vibration.

Yep, just read up on the LL requirements in your state & make sure you have taken it in & complained the requisite number of times.

Some 2015-2017 Mustang vehicles may experience a driveline vibration directly related to a vehicle speed of 70-100Kmh (50-70Mph) and is perceived as a tremor in the floor pan, seat track, or steering wheel and may be heard as a rumble, hum, or boom. Before replacement of any parts be sure to verify the concern with a road test and visually inspect the driveshaft for damage, undercoating, incorrectly seated universal joints, rotate the driveshaft by hand to feel for any binding or end play in the universal joints. If no concern is found check and correctany tire balance issues using Loaded Hunter Road Force® Method. If a concern isstill present balance the driveshaft using the Mastertech® Series MTS 4000 Driveline Balance and NVH Analyzer. Refer to Workshop Manual Sections 100-04,200-04Aand 205-01. Use labor operation 1007D and any appropriate combinations.

yes - correct that Ford knows of the issue as it was documented clearly in that film. I suggest others watch it too.

So are you supposed to drive around with "Ford" hose clamps forever??

Exactly what I thought. Seems more of a bandaid but the car feels great. I contacted Deysha and I would like to hear from someone higher up than my dealer to say that is an acceptable fix and no more action should be taken.

It doesn't sound like an actual TSB, but some other kind of "direction" from Ford to the dealerships.

Wish I has seen this document from Ford before I went to my arbitration hearing today... I will also say that I usually am the only occupant in my car but with the arbitrator and BBB rep in the car as well, the vibration was much harder to duplicate. The added weight considerably changed the damping characteristics of the car- which you would expect. Keep this in mind if you go to arbitration and they test drive the car.
Edit: Does anyone have source for this document? I would like to send it to the BBB rep to pass on to the arbitrator but I need to include an official source.

That may also be why some dealers don't detect the vibration on test drives if they are with the owner or with another tech riding along.

Ok so now Im really pissed off. I just picked my car up after ford having it for 1 night, which I knew they wouldn't do a thing as they already told me they wouldn't. I was told this is a normal trait for the car, however they verify the vibration.

When I called the ford customer service number that my dealer did nothing but hold my car for the night. They spoke with the dealer and the service manager told her that they had a FSE look at the car bullshit, i said they did not have an fse come out and look at the car, they called an area tech that told them it was a harmonic issue. But in my paperwork, it states they called the FSE and that there is no issue its normal for the car.

And the part that probably pisses me off the most, the assholes unplugged my dash cam so that I couldnt see what was being done to my car when they did drive it.

Im about 2 secs from going off and making a roid rager look tame.
