Ford GT one is gone in 3.4.
There are still different themes like before, but also some 10inch layouts as well.

One thing I wish the system would do:
When browsing a BT source, hitting browse start at the top of the playlist it is currently playing, and not start at the song it is currently playing.
It's not Kool-Aid, it's called understanding and being realistic.
Having a single purpose platform for a mass production car trying to hit a dollar target, range of customers, performance goals, and ever moving government safety standards is not economically feasible in any way.
This car has to...
Can someone confirm with a Non-Nav? and paste the contents of the Autoinstall.lst file.
I'm guessing the contents of their 'autoinstall.lst' file would have 2 sections then correct instead of the one for Nav?
; SYNC3 Consumer Assembly Upgrade - Release 3.4.43 - Only for Nav/NA assemblies...
Yeah the system updates, the files are correct...but still shows the wrong map version. Even after a master reset.
Added this to the first post.
I really wish the installs of these files was more straight forward with feedback to the user with proper display text, screens, prompts and a...
The install will keep looping. (reboot and autoinstall off the key if it is kept in)
It doesn't seem to have a stop with 'update successful'
Catch it when it says 'remove usb' and just remove it. It'll reboot into 3.4 and you'll be fine
Compared it to my old installer and it seems there is an...
Guess we should have stayed with the Fox platform since it was smaller and lighter right?
CD6 is a flexible platform that was designed for scale for both mid/full sized cars and SUVs, so lets not blow a gasket on it and pretend its something its not.
Starting a new thread to separate it from the navigation thread.
Thanks UoMEngineer for providing all help and updates on the subject and the Navigation thread issues.
*UPDATE IS LIVE - Sync3 3.4 for 2019+ Mustangs that are currently running v3.2 or 3.3 or a prior version of 3.4 on the MY2020...
You have a 2018, so I'm guessing your version of Sync is 3.0 19205 and you are using the older Sync hardware that doesn't officially support Sync 3.2-3.4 and won't be updated to those versions by Ford.
You are stuck with 3.0 * versions on the hardware you currently have (officially)...
Not exactly like this, as UoMEng said.
It will show what the originally installed map was.
Early 2019s came with 1.17 and it still says that after any update is applied (like 1.18 and/or 1.19)
Update on mine (its working and updated)
1st and original attempt at upgrading the map: removed it too soon, like most people with the problem File 21 copied (MAPS) and file 22(VoiceNAV) was not since its in the last section of the install.
2nd attempt I didn't want to do the whole set over...
S650 is not the platform of the car.
The program name (S650) would not change and it's not there to smooth over anything.
It sounds like the decision was made to continue to use the same or slightly altered current platform instead of moving to the originally intended one for that program...
