Some great info:
https://www.f150forum.com/f118/sync-map-update-lst_err05-479185/index11/
Short notes (for those 19s with 3.3)
-in the diagnostic menu, check your version numbers. There should be 5 files.
-*21-CAC is the updated MAP. *22-CAF is the updated Voice Nav
-If you are missing *22-CAF...
Sure enough, she's broke.
I gotta be honest, I've never used the voice for Nav.
Mainly posted the specs/upgrade path for those getting the license error.
Sync 3.3 and completed 1 18 to 1 19 update after downloading from July 9th.
The bug still shows 1 17 of course but the files update.
Used a Lexar 64GB USB 3.0 with no problems and took about 30 minutes (give or take).
I find there's a lot in there, but its organized horribly and doesn't give you easy direct access to switch between things you'd use most often.
Case in point, what you're looking for.
For the most part I'd say the trip info/gauge toys are split into 2 sections. Each section you are in, you can...
Ford has been on point with their stock exhaust lately. The stock GT without active is pretty nice as is the active exhaust
Then go listen to a stock Bullitt in track-mode as it bangs through the gears. It's downright magical.
It does not sound like a GT with Active in Track. With all the...
Keep in mind if its a JOB2 vehicle/late ad or like the Bullitt, the colour wasn't added till later.
I'd think based on their track record that there will be at least 1 colour special to the Mach1.
IIRC it's due to the space for the catch can, not a defect or lack of hose size. The bracket is slightly angled that way tipping it forward.
It holds a lot, its a fairly large unit by comparison to my old JLT on a previous mustang. I'd venture to say the FP actually holds more.
Emptying my JLT...
I have the FP Passenger side:
https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6766-A50A
100% fits, had 0 problems installing it. It sits at a bit of an angle on the bracket (so it's not just hanging off the hoses)
Easy to remove and empty with the quick connect fittings.
I'd be interested in a S/C Bullitt/ vs S/C GT350 comparison (like the stock comparison) for driver feeling.
That blower is definitely upping the score in that department over the stock Voodoo.
Realistically the GT350 should edge out what's below it in almost all categories. It's a top shelf...
When you are running the AC, feel the inside of one of the vents. There's a lot of moisture in there.
Try running the fans on full without the AC on for a minute before shutting the car off to dry it up (hot air will dry this faster)
I also have a couple of dehumidifiers in the car (like an...
In real time? or grabbed from when your phone was last connected via BlueTooth? Can you remotely unlock your doors?
Ford Pass will populate the info(Tank level, oil life) when connected to BT, but I have yet to see any Bullitts actually have the hardware to do it over-the-air via modem.
I remember seeing this in a couple places (or hearing it from Carl Widmann in one of his interviews).
Had to do with electronics differences between the 2 cars/engines, so they had to use a different part.
Ah yeah, probably when you got your spoiler done IIRC.
Thanks brotha.
I'm in for the floating black center caps and probably the green surround as well.
Someone had posted a while back the paint recipe that the body shop used for DHG B5.
It's probably buried in a thread here.
That might help.
Edit: Had it saved, attached. Thanks to whoever originally posted it.
The letter is the year designation:
K->2019
L->2020
M->2021
etc
The number is the sequence built off the line.
This is exactly the same as the Shelby's and Bullitt number system.
They have no match to the VIN, anyone that does is purely coincidental.
I guess if they made more than 9999...
Correct.
People seem to blindly quote some wiki and people forget anyone can edit it. Not a good source for absolute truths. Just goes to show you how wrong information can spread.
To be fair, it wasn't exactly broadcast when the 2015 came out what platform it was on, and I've seen it...
SN95/S197/S550/S650 aren't a modified anything. They are program #'s, not platforms.
I believe the only reason people refer to S550 as the platform was because, until recently, the actual platform it was riding on was never really referenced.
People seem to confuse program code and platform all the time.
SN95, S197, S550, S650 are programs.
FOX, D2C were the platforms, which have gone through changes over the years to update them.
