Thanks for the link, i was looking at them based on your air dry recommendation. I was looking to trying orange in my mach, seems that is a colour not readily available in the UK. Also called "neon" so may be too bright?

I took her out to run some errands and just drive around a bit and got the dreaded TPMS fault message. It's interesting that it shows both left side sensors at fault but the rights are fine. They're the original OEM sensors so I'm assuming they'll self-relearn if I initiate the learn process, correct?

It's a 2015 but Discount Tire replaced the batteries when I got new tires a couple of years ago. It also seems rather odd that only the two left side sensors would go out at exactly the same time. I've heard that RF can interfere with the TPMS sensors and they immediately went out after I made a stop at a CVS drive through. I just wonder if something at the store caused it. That might explain why only the left sides are having issues since that was the side facing the store.

There's no harm in trying to relearn the sensors. It will either work or it won't. I have serious doubts that anything at a drugstore drive thru, or any drive thru, will effect the tpms or their signal.
Did Discount replace the batteries or the entire sensor? I was under the impression that the tpms were sealed units and when the battery dies the entire sensor is replaced. If they told you they replaced the batteries, well, that's probably a lie. If they replaced the sensors they may have a warranty. If they did nothing and said they did, back to a lie.

I still don't believe that any kind of electronics in a pharmacy is going to propagate thru walls and affect your tpms without messing with other electronics. The stuff in a pharmacy is simply computers and Point Of Sale stuff, basically what is inside every drive thru.
The Ford tool is only $13 on Amazon but you don't necessarily need a tool to relearn the TPMS sensors. Google Ford tpms relearn and it will bring up the procedure.

I wouldn't think it would do it either. However, it seems an awfully big coincidence that both sensors closest to the drive-through window fail as I leave and get up to 20+ MPH. Just too big to discount it out of hand.

One other note: this is the first time I have ever taken my Mustang through the drive-through at this pharmacy as the exhaust noise makes it hard to have a conversation with the tech. I usually go in but didn't feel like it today. I'll do it again next time I need to pick something up just to see what happens.

I never heard a time frame but I'd guess at least 20 to 30 minutes each. No tire store is going to do that. At most they would take the sensor out and replace any rubber gasket and maybe a valve stem. I guarantee that they did not replace any sensor batteries.

If they fail again after the relearn then I'll buy the coincidence 100%. Otherwise, I'm still considering RF interference as a possible culprit.

EDIT: I went and checked what Discount Tire considers "TPMS service". It's basically a replacement of the valve stem and any other rubber components. So you are correct: no battery replacement. I'm just having a senior moment.
