Last week was busy!
Did a few trips with my now newly whippled gen1 gt350.
Drove from the north of Austria to Carinthia and later to Venice, Italy.
Followed by a short break for a motorcycle track day and procceded to Nurburgring.
Unfortunatly my alternator died on the way back, either from wear or me spilling coolant while i changed the reservoir tank.
Still it was a blast

arg…I read that wrong!Yas! I'm doing my first trackday of the year on my V4R on the 24th of this month, can't wait! Can't hold a candle to any of the tracks in Italy, but beats a Wednesday in the office.
My poster cars back in the day (along with the cousin Dodge Stealth).arg…I read that wrong!

Took the car to Road Atlanta for a track day that my wife and sons bought me as an early Father's Day gift. Scary but fun! The capability of the car is far superior to my driving talent. @svttim has said multiple times, and I'm paraphrasing here, the best investment/mod you can make is learning how to drive your car. It's amazing how much I didn't know when it comes to understanding and trusting even fifty percent of what the car can do. Fun times...

Thanks guys for the props. There are several in this group who really know their stuff. In the early days you had to modify Mustangs to get them to turn left and right. Those days are gone. The cars coming out since and including the Boss 302 have brought a different game. The car out performs the newer and intermediate drivers. Good news is it cost nothing extra to do a track at that point. Just get yourself there.Took the car to Road Atlanta for a track day that my wife and sons bought me as an early Father's Day gift. I’m in the same boat, Dave. Although I have 2 free oil changes from this purchase (points from purchase and my dealer threw in a free oil change when we bought it)Got a free Shelby oil change.
I had to buy this in order to get enough Ford Points to qualify for the oil change:
