I have a VMP Gen3r on the car now but I'm wanting a more lopey idle. I don't want a ghost cam tune for several reasons, but mainly because the performance gain on the top end is worth sacrificing some bottom end for my goals. I'm looking at comp cams stage 2 thumpr (mutha thumprs) but wanted to know if that's a good choice for boosted application and/or if they'd even work, since the max lift is a tad more than stock (0.55in cammed vs 0.51in stock). Also if I go that route, are stock valve springs enough or do they require stronger ones? Let me know your thoughts or experience!

There's no reason they wouldn't work.

You can make about 1800-2000 who with stock cams. Dunno why you wouldn't want a ghost cam tune, all that will happen with these new cams are that the Ti-VCT will make them livable: then you'd have to either lock them out or get a ghost cam tune to make them sound like you want.

Locking them out is not preferable.
