That's actually much cheaper than I thought. Most shops charge $1200+ for the OPG and crank. I want to do this.

Agreed, I don't think that's out of line for what he got done.

The cost for the cams, tss opg & billet crank gear & arp crank bolt was $1300.00 installed. i added trickflow upgraded valve springs as well that cost me $520 installion+ the part cost which was $339.
That's not bad that's a ton of work.

The $1300 is the install, it of course doesn't include the cost of the parts! Keep in mind there are many factors that go into installation prices! The size of the build and what they are doing in your build. Example if your getting a cam install and opg's when they take things apart there are other upgrades right there that can be done with minumal time like crank gears and an upgraded crank bolts so those 2 install charges are minumal..the bigger the build the more you run into that. some shops are really good about that.

Oh yeah, I'm looking to get a little less done than he is, and paying out something in that neighborhood I can handle. It's better than me getting pissed off and launching wrenches across the garage, and probably going through a window. Plus it would save me from YELLING the most horribly abrasive, but yet creatively offensive language you could ever put together!!!

You know, I had a bit of a brain fart. I looked back at my bill and I paid about the same for install ($1282). I'm excited to see the final numbers on your car.

 I would do the same probably. I draw the line at installing headers on these cars. Anything more involved I would pay a shop to do.

Any updates Dominant1 ?
The wcf event this weekend no doubt slowed things down with correcting a minor driveability issue. The guys at jpc will jump right on it this week.... I want my car perfect before it leaves their shop and my patience will pay off.

Hey Dominant1, are you getting ALL that stuff in your N/A build signature done at JPC at once? Or do you have some of that stuff already?

All of the stuff in my sig was installed by them and yes they did it all at once. I already had the steeda suspension installed myself. Theyve been tuning it just gotta iron out that driveability issue!

Okay, thanks. I was figuring everything you have listed after "N/A build" was what JPC was doing, but just wanted to make sure. I got some gears spinning in my head and just wanted to make sure I have all the correct info.

So, if the only issue is 6th gear under 1500rpm, do you have final peak figures?

Spoke to the owner at Jpc today they got the surge issue down to a minumum, it only happens cold start @3500 rpm & after 3 minutes of warming up it goes away! He's gonna have his tuner continue to work on it more today. Then he will email in a few hours to let me know how he made out!
