Ordered new jacking rails from ZL1 Add-ons. Their rails are 6061 aluminum, so super lightweight and won’t rust. My Steeda rails work just fine, but they are rusting pretty bad, to the point when it rains or when snow melts off the car, they drip rusty water on my garage floor. I’ve also noticed some rusty water drip spots towards the rear where my IRS braces are.

I understand our winters here are harsh and road salt wreaks havoc on steel, but my IRS braces have only been on the car a couple years (and I sprayed them with Rustoleum before installing to help prevent rusting) and the fact they’re rusting already is disappointing. I’ll be putting my summer wheels on next week, so I’ll do a closer inspection of the braces when I have the car in the air.

Oh yeah, new summer tires get installed this coming Friday morning. Went with the Conti ECS02, excited to compare them with the OG ECS, which is what I currently have

My car has never seen a winter as its in storage and my IRS braces rusted. I bedlined mine since the powder was already chipping from rust under the coating right out the box. I sanded them down and resprayed. Been fine since then.

Well, it's going to be Monday. The detailer texted me today that he was still working on the polish as he wasn't satisified with it yet. I'm just glad hes taking the time to do it right.
Not ready today. He still had some polishing to finish this morning. Maybe tomorrow....

Been a long while since I’ve seen an IAT at 84*. Ambient was 80*, warmest it’s been here since last September. Lots of rain in the forecast the rest of the week…

About the same here yesterday. Our high was 76. We went out for a nice cruise with the AC running for the first time since last year. I would have had the windows down, but her hair you know.

Still waiting for delivery of my Calimer transmission, I know it is April fool's day, and I shouldn't have trusted the text from Fedex that said it would be delivered 4/1/26, today. LOL The days not over yet.

Waiting for my "New to Me" 2015 Race Red GT Premium convertible. Purchased it from Koch Ford in PA. Pretty loaded with options including the 50th Anniversary package. Should be on the trailer by the end of the week.

My new Calimer stage 2 transmission just showed up! It all looks good. I put it in the shop and will uncrate it tomorrow. It just started snowing and we are supposed to get 2". We don't have any snow cover at this time and haven't had for a month, so I don't expect this to last.

I got it out of the showroom and into my garage. If I'm honest though, the showroom is nicer than my garage. Poor girl, better go look for a gift for her to make up for the newly cramped quarters.
