Adjusted the parking brake. The adjustment nut had backed itself out and the lever was no longer holding the car.
Got it up on ramps at the back and crawled under there with a flash light, a deep 10mm socket, a UJ, and a couple of extensions. It was so loose I could do it up with my fingers!
I stuck a nylock nut on the end to stop it backing off again.

Took the Bullitt to 5Star Thursday and Friday and got the Stainless Works Headers, Gesi Hi Flow cats and Stainless works H pipe installed and then had the car dyno tuned. I kept the stock muffs/active exhaust. Only mods are the exhaust system plus the GT350 intake, throttle body and air filter/box (stock intake system on the Bullitt) are the only mods. Very happy with the results. Drove home last night and my new steering wheel was waiting for me! Installed it today.

I just can't stand those skinny steering wheels! I did the same thing to my F150 with a Raptor wheel +paddles and my 02 C5 with an aftermarket wheel. Got the MMD leather/Carbon wheel for the Bullitt. Easy install but I did lose the heated function which I never use. Feels so much better in my hands now-

486/435 to the wheels. Perfect-
My F150 and my C5 are both boosted, I wanted to keep the Bullitt NA but closer to 500 and I got it!

I upgraded the front turn signals to Raxiom sequentials today. Also, since I had the wheels off, I checked the rotor thickness to see if they were still in spec (all good).

The new turn signals are smoked so they blend in great with a black car. Sorry about the dirty car. It's going to the detailers soon.

Here they are lit up as DRLs.

Here's a video of the emergency flashers showing the sequential effect:

Just maintenance. New spark plugs and changed my supercharger oil.

I thought that the super chargers used the engine oil. Does yours have a separate oil reservoir?

As far as I know most if not all modern superchargers use their own separate oil.

Thanks for trying to do the right thing for the little guy.
Ok, so it's been 5 weeks now since I rescued Mr. Jojo. The Mrs gave him a name but handling and feeding is my responsibility.
Mr. Jojo will not eat or drink on his own, so, I have to literally hold him and open his mouth to get him to eat or drink. The scab that was his left eye was shed yesterday. No way anything is growing back in this instance. His hind legs are still mostly lame but he climbs just fine with his front legs.
I decked out his habitat with coconut fur flooring, and I change out his habitat plants ever 2-3 days with stuff I have on my property such as croutons, foxtail ferns, and ligustrom branches as well as a timed full spectrum led light to aid in digestion.
His habitat got moved to my porch since the weather has warmed here in S.Florida. He seems to like it more than being inside.

I have tossed a cricket into his tank previously, but it just Hid and eventually died. The little guy can't hunt with 1 eye and bad hind legs so it looks like he is a semi permanent fixture at my house.

As for feeding, he gets either 1 cricket or 3-4 mealworms per day, hand fed via forcepts and 1-2 cc's of water via a syringe. He bit me good tonight while holding him for feeding but this time it didn't hurt, but he clamps down like he means it for sure.

Sorry to hijack the thread, I just wanted to offer a continuance to the story.

I took her to the detailers today to get a quote on paint correction / ceramic coating. They quoted my $1,350 for:
  • Complete hand wash & dry
  • Interior cleaning (vacuum, wipe down)
  • Wheel and tire cleaning
  • Paint contaminant removal
  • Complete claybar
  • Two-stage polish
  • Full ceramic coating with a 3+ year guarantee
It'll take three days to complete all of the above.

Does that sound reasonable?

There is a lot of labor involved in paint correction, and all that you list looks like 2 days or more of work.

Started the unwrap journey today. This mod is hands down the biggest pain in the nads to date.

What is the thinking behind no front bumper cover? Your car has been like that for a long time

I don't update the thread every time I take my bumper off or put it back on lol. It's been 4 weeks this time around and only been driven maybe thrice? But the thinking is I want to go back to a Mach 1 bumper and took my OEM back off to make it easier on the guy painting it/me. And I like driving it regardless of bumper status.

He told me three days because black paint is harder to correct.
Since he won't be touching any black paint, he means black color coat forces him to do a better job on the clear coat that other colors hide better.

Yes, I supposed that is a more accurate way to put it. 🤣

I'm scheduled for March 26th and will get her back on the 28th. I'll post pics for opinions on how good a job he does.
