Ok, I gave in and ordered the MMR opg and timing gear. I want to be able to beat on my car without worrying about these items. I found myself watching the oil pressure gauge more than the tach.
Lol, I'm going to beat on my car severally after the install
Jaime I think he meant the stock timing gear.Terry, were you running the MRR gear?
Just curious because mine were just installed days ago (OPG and Timing Sprocket). I will not see more than 770 rwhp and may only see 1 or two track days in its life and I'm assuming this is perfectly safe for my setup?
Thanks,
Jaime
After removing timing chain from the left in picture, before removing the right side, step #18 states to rotate crankshaft clockwise 90 degrees.
That article is for the 11-14 5.0's, the 15 5.0's have a different procedure. After removing timing chain from the left in picture, before removing the right side, step #18 states to rotate crankshaft clockwise 90 degrees.
my question is,wouldn't that take the engine out of time?
