Resonator delete question

I have a roush axle back and am very tempted to do an H pipe resonator delete. The thing is I'm not sure how much the sound would increase. I don't want it to be too loud. My question is if I were to cut the stock pipes to install an H pipe, would I somehow be able to put the resonator back on if I decide it's too loud with the H pipe?

If you need to reinstall the resonator, you can always weld the resonator back on if you don't like clamps. Be prepared for loudness with this setup.

I have roush axle backs and a ford racing x-pipe and its pretty loud. But in a good way! Cold start ups are loud and when you rev it over 4k it absolutely screams

And a side note, once you put a supercharger on it it will snap and crackle for you too!!!!

And to add to the video and answer you question about reinstalling the resonator, yes, you can reinstall it with the same clamps you use to install the H resonator delete.

About how much would a custom H pipe cost?

About $100 or so considering it's a fairly simple task.

I have the Roush AB's and H-Pipe and mine crackle and pop on deceleration too.

Driving through tunnels is a whole new experience, with the H-pipe

For those who have done this Mod...do you think your exhaust note exceeds 98DBs at 1500RPMS??? Thinking about doing this Mod but if it exceeds 98DBs before 1500RPMs I won't be able to get it to pass inspection. Which would really blow...

I have just an X pipe and I get a bit of popping and crackle on downshifting.

Xpipe + Roush axle back owner here....its loud above 3500rpms, but not annoying at cruising speeds. I had the h-pipe first and to me it was louder than the x-pipe.
