Looks awesome bro.....since it's not on the car, therefore I can't tell...does it slope up in the back like the Shelby's spoiler? do you feel as if it's 99.9% identical? other than that I hope it does not get easily damaged.

I have seen the gt350r wing in person. And I feel this is as advertised by carbon. It does slope.
I'm removing my oem spoiler now... make sure you guys have a heat gun handy and a magnet.

Sorry if it sounds dumb, but what's the purpose of the heat gun and magnet?

Double sided tape under the oem wing (if you don't have an oem wing don't worry about the heat gun.) The bolts for the wing are easy to get to with a ratchet and a socket, but your fingers don't fit in the end holes very well... so as you back the nut off the stud, you will wanna finish taking the nut off with the magnet. It would ruin my day if I dropped a nut down between the two panels.

So here's a mock up. Not quite sure about the exact placement. I just got all of the double sided tape off. (What a pain) Goof Off is your friend in this situation.

There is quite a few holes and different sizes, so I think in the long run, I'll fix the holes right. Sorry the lighting kinda sucks.

Thank you...appreciate your input. Since your're the 1st one to install it and just like you I had a factory spoiler which I ended up replacing with one from RPI Designs. Looks like this spoiler will not cover the factory holes, will the holes need to be plugged and the truck lid painted?

Carbon Dynamics will send plugs with your wing. I'm still waiting on my plugs to get here. That's what's been holding up shipping. That being said, the template for drilling new holes will be coming with the plugs. I'm gonna do some messing with it this weekend, and once I figure out how I wanna do it, then I will do the full write up.

The best way to fill the holes will include welding and grinding and sanding and painting. So it may be a while until I do it "right"

I'll see what I can get done this weekend. I have to work tomorrow. I'm going in early so I can get out early... otherwise, I won't be home until about sundown. Screw daylight wasting time.

Wait! So the wing I'll receive one of these days (hopefully soon) won't come with plugs for the hole like it was promised? And it's getting shipped a different time?

His didn't come with plugs because we rushed it to him before the plugs were ready.

Yeah... they have been waiting on the plugs. That's what the hold up has been. It's no big deal. That was part of what was worked out between me and carbon.
