Mgw doesn't have a shifter for the 3160 yet. I have the race spec in my 2015 gt and I already confirmed with them that it will not work with the GT350. I'm sure they will make one soon though. From what I've seen the stock shifter is pretty good. A bit tall for my tastes though. I wouldn't mind a booma racing one to just make it a little shorter in height so my arm wouldn't be elevated to shift.

When my Shelby arrives and during the winter months I will be making a chrome moly cage. The last mustangs I had I designed it to avoid interior panel cutting. Carpet, that's a different story.

I'm aware of the pinion gears being larger for the super 8.8 but I'm interested in seeing how much different the housing is. I'm not sure what ford performance told you is true. Jesse kershaw in an artical says a 4.10 is soon to come. From what I see the pinion gear is the main change. I've installed a ton of these on the straight 8.8 and I don't see the super 8.8 to be any different.

I have a tech car , will probably purchase a recaro/type seat for driver side, also a power tune from a good tuner after they get the cars sorted.

There is already an aftermarket tuner available for the gt350. Can't remember the company right now though.

HP Tuners. Waiting for one from Ford will give you the opportunity to keep your warranty if that's important to you. I don't know if they'll do it or not. Have to wait and see.

An NA tune which gives good power wouldn't come from ford. Pull the tune off for warranty if your worried.

Our car should be here in a week. Once it gets here we'll be having some tuning done by Lund Racing along with an intake, off-road pipe and eventually headers. Shortly after a paint matched Whipple 2.9l is going on and from there who knows. Lol
