I know financially wise getting my current gt supercharged would be the better choice. I'm just trying to look at other pros and cons.

The quote I got was less then $10 additional over what I'm paying for the 2015 GT. And that's for daily driving 15,000 miles per year.Insurance for some of the guys here that are 40yrs old for a gt350, it was between 1000-1800 a year. some of those policies don't allow unlimited miles and not allowing them to leave it ungaraged and locked.

...I would cry. :(I live about 20 minutes from Detroit. The combination of that, and no fault insurance in Michigan, gives me a 1700 bill every six months for my Boss. The GT350 is 2100, lol
The GT350 is a great vehicle but I think the 5.2L will actually let some down with its lack of low end grunt. While it whines up and makes great HP, at lower, usable RPM range, it will significantly suffer, even on the track.Hey guys having a hard time deciding on what to do was looking for your guys opinion. Should I supercharge my current gt pp or trade in when I'm able to find a Shelby for msrp. If I keep my current mustang I'm figuring it'll cost about 9k for supercharger+ install plus catback system around $1500 and I'd like to get lighter wheels and new tires which I'm guesstimating will be around $2500. So around 13k for all the mods I would want where as if I got the Shelby I would leave it stock and would only cost me about 10k more for a base model. Pros and cons guys ?
If you dip below 3500 RPM on the track and have an 8200 redline to work with, you're in the wrong gear. This thing is a monster on the track. The GT350 is a great vehicle but I think the 5.2L will actually let some down with its lack of low end grunt. But if you are not on a track, Like the remaining 99% of the time low end Grunt is what makes a car fun. I think in the city the 350 will feel like a pig compared to the GT unless you drag launch it all the time.If you dip below 3500 RPM on the track and have an 8200 redline to work with, you're in the wrong gear. Maybe compared to a supercharged GT, but if you are comparing stock to stock the GT350 will be similar to a GT up to about 20 mph and then it will walk away. Don't forget the GT350 has more tire and 3.73 rear gears. But if you are not on a track, Like the remaining 99% of the time low end Grunt is what makes a car fun. This ^^Lets say we a have base gtpp for a starter, we dropped a carbon fiber drive shaft, lighter wheels, more rubber, lighter full exhaust and a steeda or ford racing complete handling package. The final touch a whipple supercharger! Now you tell me which car goes faster around a track or drag strip.
