Received my MRT H-Pipe to go with my axlebacks.. can't install them for another 2 more days because I'll be working all day tomorrow and the day after. I need to get my hands on a sawzall, don't have one so I'll be renting one from Home Depot soon.

Along with the light switch came the rear fog light assembly. Comes pre-wired with bulbs, I'll have to check but with my luck the harness is different. No problem either way since I need to run wiring from the dash anyway. I also got my Diode Dynamics sequencers.

I picked up my car from the dealership yesterday after a few repairs. While I was there a truck driver brought a bunch of new ford cars in for delivery. As I was standing next to my car, the truck driver stopped me and asked how I liked the new mustang. He said that he delivers these mustangs all over the place but he's never driven one before. Thought it was pretty cool to talk to one of our mustang truck drivers :)

Did you tell him you hadn't quite figured out how to drive it yet?

One of the dealerships should let him test drive a GT. Probably could then sell him one.

You are 100% correct. It doesn't matter how expensive the detector, with laser as soon as it goes off they already have your speed. I view radar detectors as a false sense of security. All they are good for now is letting you know you are about to receive a ticket. Sure it may save you from the officers that still use radar, but as soon as you get comfortable thinking you are safe someone will hit you with laser. The officers I know are a lot less lenient on cars with detectors as they view them as habitual speeders. A cheaper and better solution is to just drive within the speed limit (+/- 5 to 10mph) instead of like an asshole.
So much wrong here. Half of all cops I've seen in Texas (Austin/Dallas/Houston) attempt to write speeding tickets while patrolling. This is only possible with radar, as laser has to be aimed from a fixed position, at least currently. Radar is also much easier for a cop to use, and I know a few who prefer to just use radar. In more rural areas, false alarms are greatly reduced and range is fairly increased. I've also had my Laser detection go off when the cop hit a car ~100 ft in front of me, which definitely saved me from a ticket as I was considering passing him. Lastly, >10mph over the limit is 'like an asshole'? Where do you live? I-10 from Austin to Houston traffic moves at around 85 mph, or 15 over the limit. The assholes would be the ones slowing this traffic. It's situation-dependent, obviously.

Funny you mention that because when I picked up my car yesterday, the service director at my dealership offered a stick shift lesson for free. I gladly accepted and he took me around for 30 minutes explaining the ins and outs of manual driving :)

I really appreciated that kind gesture. Now it's up to me to not f-up any more clutches.

Very cool. Hopefully I can get one of these before I get my next mustang :)

My tires were at 2/32 at exactly 15k miles , I did not drag race ,and I did not do line lock. I drive 15 miles to work each way, in a straight line no curves or turns :( . I tried to baby the tires to see if I would buy them again . My front tires are still good they have 4/32 left . I may go back to Invos because I like the way the look. I guess I will sacrifice tread wear to looks but it al depends on how long the Mpss last .

Did you ruin your first clutch? This is my first stick shift car, I had driven stick a number of times before I bought it but never had my own. I wonder what kind of damage I am doing to my clutch all the time. My driving could definitely be smoother haha.

Super cool of the dealer to do that for you though!!
