For sale is a factory original, used set of Sport Cup 2's that barely wouldn't pass inspection. Tread depth is a hair under 2/32" as indicated in images. Sizes are 305/35/R19 and 295/35/R19, removed when the car had 9k miles from new. The car has never been tracked, and always garage kept. I...
I have the Dairy Queen seats, and while fantastically comfortable and more-than-reasonably bolstered for street driving, I would find them a bit lacking on-track. Experience at the GT350 track attack w/ Recaros was good, but I don't know that I could sit in them for >4 hours.
5'10" 200...
Thanks Roy - I managed to fix my issue, and don't have any issue w/ the stock lockout (other than it being flimsy and one day breaking). I like the action and the appearance of the stock ring.
The Raceseng folks say the Billetworkz knob would be a no-go. $240+ is steep for a shift ball and a...
GT350 perspective, so might not be apples to apples, but AE is super worth it in the morning as a courtesy to neighbors, and when pulling back into the neighborhood. Sometimes you're hung over and you want quiet, decent music, and the heated seats.
Easier to get aftermarket axlebacks than it is...
Sorry to dig this up - how do you like the Raceseng lockout? Did you get a matching shift knob, or a knob from elsewhere?
I broke the reverse lockout hardware installing a shift knob, and need to get it replaced. The RaceSeng isn't a bad price, so long as I can use the Billetworkz knob I just...
Agh, I should've booked this two weeks ago when I called. Called today and all 2020 sessions are booked up, with at least 3 people waitlisted. No 2021 dates scheduled as of now :(.
You seem REALLY apprehensive about this purchase. Research is good, but I think you're worrying way more than necessary. Could just be what I'm reading into your words.
I'll mostly ignore your idea of this being a long term investment. The only version of this car that could even remotely be...
The guy selling that is super nice, took lots of extra pictures for me, but it has >200 test drive miles and has been stored outdoors at least part of its >1 year on the lot. He went even lower than list when I asked, but I found a showroom-stored one in a color I liked better. Surprised this is...
I don't understand the love for the RockBlocks. I bought the JLT foam ones, and the tires can still kick rocks onto rockers, lower doors, etc. I added the ZL1 front mudflap things that attach w/ 3M adhesive and factory clips and have no issues - they also make the blocks useless. I agree with...
I just did this, got 3 quotes all pretty similar, picked the middle one through The Car Carriage LLC. Turns out they were just a broker. Paid $800 to go from central MI to western PA. Driver arrived and informed me that he sees around 450 of that. Avoid the broker and see if you can get an...
Pure awesome, and can't tell what you're talking about at a distance. I might've done the hood as well or cut out for black stripes, but those would be difficult to pull off solo.
Yeeeowch, I'm really sorry they did that. I'll echo others on getting your $ back, and they're probably going to have to strip your stripes when taking it off. For perspective, the guy who did mine talked to me for a full hour on the phone all about the intricacies of Shelby installs ('Oh man...
Elder Ford of Romeo - they were great to work with. Powertrains made just down the street, too. The one I referenced at the lowest price was in Danville, PA. Don't remember the dealer.
The stripes have a definitely lack of durability. I PPF'ed the full front end, rockers, lower doors, etc, and paid an extra $275 to put XPEL Stealth (matte finish) on the entirety of the stripes. Matte erased swirl marks in the vinyl from the dealer, and made it look killer, IMO. No worries...
Thank you for this picture (sorry for late reply). I'm getting XPEL gloss full front, rockers, lower doors, rear decklid, and the full stripes length of car in XPEL stealth. I was unsure if stripes should be gloss or matte (stock stripes are black gloss, and so is rear spoiler), but this picture...
Very nice. All these folks picking up super low mileage examples make me think I should've shopped a little harder before going new. Depreciation buys a ton of preventative maintenance, tires, and mods, not that it needs them.
Also, red stripe delete R might be my new leader in the clubhouse...
