This wasn't about a magazine/bench race, it was about real world results supported by video. Why are so many people scared of the EB being a success?

look at the rolling start time for the WRX.. much slower than the standing start. You have to abuse those things to get the times quoted by the magazines.
EB looks so much better also. Subaru has some quirky styling.

Ive yet to see one at the drag strip run lower than a 14s 1/4mi. STi that is. Call it what you will but the car is not that impressive. Its 2015 and they still use the same BS since 2005

They have very little top end. Those cars are made and designed for track and rally use. Not the strip or roll racing. They have one of the shortest gear ratios in an import I've ever seen.

You must have bought the GT, like me then! Lol. I'm a huge fan of instant power. Boost is fun, but so is torque with the blip of a throttle.
Don't have a mustang yet.

I just finished putting my Evo back to stock and it will be gone by the end of next month. going from 460whp to stock is painful so I don't even drive it any more.

Currently enjoying the exhilarating thrills that my 2007 prius with 202,000 miles has to offer

Ouch. I've always heard that's tough to do. It'll net you more money in the end that way tho. Wish I would have done the same. Lol @ the prius.
It's not a drag car... Supa LA hit the nail on the head.
Boom.

If it wasn't for the EB, I'd be driving a WRX right now. Both were 25k but the mustang just nailed the styling inside and out. Fell in love with the car. With the WRX, I was like, well it has AWD and ... ... mehhhh.

The biggest question is...Will the EB keep up with the RS AWD in any type of race?

I doubt it even though they share the same motor the RS has upgraded parts on it that put it's power and torque above the EBM. Also with tuning and bolt on the car will just separate the gap in power between them even more. The RS is more on the level with the GT mustang then EBM.

Pretty much. Don't forget that awd aspect. It makes a difference in more than one area.
