A true meaning of tire rotation is having a diagonal swap from back to front and vice - versa. opposite direction would not make sense as in exchanging the rears from left to right and vice versa and it's not possible with directional tires anyway.

Well that is interesting but I can assure you...My buddies have fast Subies down here that will smoke most V8s....I've ridden shotgun in them and boy...My V8 ain't shit....So I wouldn't say that no 4 banger can duplicate V8 power....Street Subies pushing 40psi and revving up to 9000 rpm.

The new WRX engine is a completely different from the EJ257 STi. I've never heard of any over heating issues with Subaru engines at the track...And I've been to many track events where STis and WRX have been hotlapping.
