Plus I was figuring if I get the itch to power up the HP 3.5 EB will drop right in; I knew Ford had won Sebring this year with it and there are quite a few F-150 3.5 EB available in wrecks. I have read the 3.5 EB was designed to make 800 HP and survive. Have Fun....I am!
I wonder how practical switching the engine would be. Do you really believe the 3.5L EB will just drop in given the lower clearance?

Started out in 67 with a 66 GT on to 69 Mach 1 428SCJ RA and last Stang was an 08 GT Convertible. In between there was a 67 Comet Cyclone 427 8V and 71 Ranchero GT 429 CJ. I even drag raced a friends 70 Boss 429. This 15 Mustang is just fun to drive and gets 30-31 mpg at highway speeds; reminds me of the 66 GT as just fun to drive. Those other HP fords were neat cars but not much fun to drive around as always some kind of issue. Sure the 08 GT Vert with premium pkg was a fairly good driver but this new rear suspension sure beats that. I think you'd have a very difficult time getting the EB to fit. In the F-150 it takes up more room in the engine bay than the 5.0L, because of the turbos and all the intake tubes. Better off with a procharger on the 3.7L to get a significant power bump.

Like BmacMI said, supercharging/turbocharging the 3.7 would be the easier and cheaper way to go. My dream would be to create my own 3.7 ecoboost... Twin turbocharged with around 600hp. All I need is the money... :frusty:

Well checked COTUS and my car is officially "in production" and it looks to be halfway through if the bar running through is accurate. Yay! Even though I won't be picking it up until the end of March :)

That's awesome. So how's that going to work, anyway? Is the dealer going to keep it in another lot away from other people?

Well the car is mine so they will keep it on their lot until I can get it. Thankfully they are a small dealership so they will keep it safe. They had a car when I went to order mine and I couldn't even sit in it so I'm sure it will be fine :) If the car comes very early which I doubt it will only be a matter of a couple of weeks.

Here in NY we're getting snow in some form every other day for like the past two weeks or so. It can really get you down having to go to work in it, it being so freaking cold n all. Just knowing that my car will be coming in and I'll get to take her home at the end of March really makes me feel great! I'm thinking it will be warmer and barring a freak snowstorm in April it'll be a lot of fun to enjoy the car as it gets warmer lol

Right for the beginning of Spring is perfect. The weather has been absolutely ridiculous lately! Every warm enough day to wash the car it snows the next day!

I know, it's been crazy! I washed our 13 Fusion today because it was just filthy and I only washed it last weekend. Of course we are getting snow Sunday into Monday so it will be dirty again.. Just have to get the salt n road crap off the car though. I soooo wish I had a garage! Lol. :ford:

...I'm going down to the dealership to order my 15 Mustang V6 with 051 A okg, spoiler delete and Auto Trans in Magnetic Gray Metallic!! ... :)
How's this order going? One thing. You do not mention the 3.55 axle. You didn't order the 3.55 axle? I can't imagine that, especially w/auto.

Why not?

Thanks for asking! It's actually built and according to Rachel at FordServuce it's awaiting transport. Should be getting it by the end of March which is perfect as this cold weather is not conducive to picking up and taking home my beautiful Mustang lol. I got the 3.15 gears primarily because I want the best possible MPG with this car. It will be plenty fast for me :ford: :headbang:
