but now you have a GT350 soo.....hahahaha....damn...I wish
I would never have changed my V6 for an Ecoboost or a GT but the GT350 is whole different thing. I'm fortunate a GT350 became available. I didn't have to order and wait as a deal had fallen apart and I was able to scoop it up instantly.

Only ever did it once. 0-30 in 2.3 and 0-60 in 5.8. That was without any launching. Just mashing the gas pedal from 0.

Don't forget that the 3.7 is used in various other platforms like the new continental, MKX, police interceptors, etc. Ford will probably keep the V6 going in multiple cars to spread the cost. When they do phase it out, I see them doing the 2.3 T4 as the base and maybe an up-rated 2.7 TTV6 as the mid range option. The strategy of 3 engine options seems to be a good one, as most people pay more for the mid range option typically.

I do love this engine and have no regrets other than not being rich enough for a GT or GT350 :D

It has good power and sound, and with a tune it is even more lively.

dang that's pretty good. I haven't really pushed the car to WOT so my times for 0-60 usually end up being 9 seconds.

I feel the same way, for the price it cant be beat. This is my first new car and first car with over 200HP. At this price range, it can't be beat.

I bought a 2004 Crossfire when they came out, the first one in southeast florida drove it for 10 years 162,000 miles ran it up to 160 mph several times, when I traded it in for a 2015 V6 auto 51A Premium, 18" GT foundry wheels. I'm having just as much fun in my Mustang with the mods in installed.

7.7? You are being too light on the throttle. My worst time is like 6.2, before my tune typically got 5.7-5.9. Have to try it out now that I'm tuned...but it is really hot out and will skew the results.

I have not timed my 0-60 yet. Likely I would get 9 seconds as well. I don't push my car hard, as a result many cars are faster than me at traffic light.
