I hope you didn’t pay full MSRP… you can clearly see that Hot Wheels swapped out the the carbon fiber wheels…

What did you have to do to ‘prove’ to them you needed it?

I haven’t yet, it goes in 7/13. But, the TSB states the definitive test is to attempt to engage cruise control when the surge is occurring- if it refuses to engage the problem is definitely the loosening output shaft flange nut. That’s what it did to me.

Switched my Steering wheel stripe back to the Anchor Room Race Red. The Blue was not the correct color match and just didn't fit. I'm not trying to be an "R" but the black stripe was just blah and in a practical sense hard to track with the eye.

Got her all cleaned up for the 4th of July, and then drove her in the misting rain about 12 hours later. She got about 30 minutes of visible cleanliness outside the garage

She is now on daily driver duty after I realized halfway through the first corner that I accidentally purchased the wrong brake pad and rotor set for the daily Honda Accord

Not much…put her on a lift and pulled the shifter, cats, driveshaft, o2’s, electrical and finally dropped the trans

the patient is subdued but in good condition, her prognosis is positive with another injection of Shiner Bock into her surgeons…but we expect no complications with the McLeod transplant that will resume in the morning, before it hits another self-incineration temp!

What a weekend! Saturday was a cruise and then racing go-carts at the Ridge Motorsports park in Shelton, WA (I got 3rd in the carts, NBD… ).
At lunch, I got to spend some time with the president of Shelby. I was surprised to learn that trucks are 75% of their business now!
Today was an all Ford and Shelby car show at Griots garage. I was supposed to enter my car, but I ended up doing a drive around the peninsula with a bunch of Porsche guys from Dundon Motorsports. I missed entering my car in the show, but I still had time to make the show and see all the cool stuff.
Thanks again to Shelby American, Griot’s Garage and Ivars for such a fun weekend.
I met a bunch of fellow and knowledgeable enthusiasts. I’m new to Ford and Shelby performance, and I’ve got to say, it’s a great community.
I bought my R with 2,804 miles in January, and I crossed 5,200 today! Here’s too MANY more adventures.
