I finally figured out the growl and rattle that I had. I thought it was coming from the trans tunnel, turns out the space that I thought was good between the passenger LTH and ac line was not enough. After prying the line away another 1/8" all is good!!!

It's great to be rattle free again...for now.

Mustang DH friend in my neighborhood came over after work to use his OBD+Forscan to enable Performance Shift indicator for me. Tested it out on the street and snapped these pics. Will change the shift point to 7000 before my next track day. It should be nice to notice the LED bar without looking down and watching for 7k rpm.

We used this post for the procedure.

I ordered a strut brace badge (NOS) on e-bay and it came today I didn't pop rivet it on, I installed two press in studs from the bottom side of the brace and used a couple little acorn nuts on the top side I like the look much better. I fixed the UPR expansion tank I bought. After it was mounted it sagged into the engine bay and looked like I had something bent or broken. And it touched the UPR catch can. I determined that the expansion tank needed to be lifted about 10 degrees on the engine bay side. I machined an aluminum block with a 10 degree angle and machined two slots as mounting holes. I mounted the wedge under the tank mount flange and tightened it down and now the tank sits square and there is clearance between the catch can and tank.
