I need to do the head gasket on my 2.3l. What would be the best service to go with for the repair? I have used Haynes in the past. But is there a better online option? I've not found the Ford service manual. If anyone knows where to find that. I'll happily buy into it.

I joined Hagerty Drivers Club for $70/year. It offers 100 miles of towing with "good" flatbed towing companies. I just discovered it also offers free access to Chilton manuals for any car!

I purchased a download from eBay a few years ago for around $20. It was a pdf of the Ford OE Service Manual for the car. It's complete and it's great. No idea how they get away with selling a copy of the Ford manual but apparently they do. For $20 it's worth the risk.

Helm is as factory as it gets. I'm planning to keep my car so I purchased their CD-ROM and wiring diagram manual it's been very helpful. for the many mods I did on my car and my son's Mustang. For a one-time special repair, U-Tube University and other options would certainly save some money.

I just had the new Haynes manual delivered I found for cheap on ebay. I'm really liking it and the online content that comes with it.
But I'll check your suggestion out for sure!

any chance you can link the seller?
I just picked up a sweet deal on the new S550 Haynes manual. Really brings me back to build my SN95 back in the 00's.

Unfortunately the purchase was too old for eBay to maintain the history.

Here's an image from my purchase history...

Not sure if it will help. But if you search on eBay for service manual downloads or pdfs for the Mustang you should find a comparable manual. Check with the seller and find out if it's a complete manual including wiring diagrams BEFORE you purchase. For the price it's the best option.
