  1. 10R80 Owners - ULTIMATE M6G 10R80 Facts + Resolutions to harsh or no shift conditions

Have you had them add an extra half a quart of oil? Originally, I had them check my fluid and found it was about half a quart low and that seemed to fix my stutter and no shift issues. But the solenoid replacement turned the engine into an entirely different driving experience when it was...
  2. 10R80 Owners - ULTIMATE M6G 10R80 Facts + Resolutions to harsh or no shift conditions

So I had the exhaust side VCT solenoid replaced and it seemed to fix all of my shift issues.
  3. Needing a test mule for an oil filter guide

Yup. Slightest wiggle and it would slip out. That's why I just moved to the bendable long silicone pad. It's like 2 feet long and 1 foot wide and stays in the form you mold it to. Great stuff so far.
  4. Needing a test mule for an oil filter guide

Hey, so many moons ago. Someone was selling oil guides that they 3d printed on here. You should look around for some of their posts. I'll try and dig through my post history to find it. Guy sold it for like 20$. I used it for years till I found out about this bendable silicone mats that I use to...
  5. Fluttering Rocker Arm on Driver Side of Engine - 2019 5.0

My sound comes from the driver side bank and sometimes comes up just when it's just sitting there with no serious gas or any gas on the peddle.
  6. Fluttering Rocker Arm on Driver Side of Engine - 2019 5.0

I've recently started to hear an odd sound coming from what I think is the rocker arm on maybe the third cylinder of the driver side bank. Has anyone ever had one fail before? I'm thinking of taking the car in for a warranty check up. But sometimes the sound disappears. So I'm worried they won't...
  7. What's up with the 2k rattle?

It has to do with a sticky Solenoid on the exhaust side of the Cam banks. I had it repaired on my 5.0. Just take it in and replicate it for the techs. Hold gas at about 2.2K rpms and let off. Should let you replicate the rattle. Then have them unplug the solenoid and it will disappear.
  8. 182mph on the Autobahn

Did anyone watch how fast the Fuel gauge rocked down a few pegs? Lol
  9. Griot's CORDLESS FOAMER & SPRAYER

Let me save you some money. Or not. Go get the bottom tier water pressure washer from Home Depot. Get quick release ends for all of your cables and buy a true foamer. I started out with the Grio and I hated it. I went professional with my set up.
  10. What would prevent you from buying the S650?

The only thing stopping me. Is that my current S550 does a fantastic job as my car.
  11. New lawsuit involving the A10R80 again

Hey, this was a serious issue for me. BEFORE I had them do the Exhaust side CAM solenoid. Also, it comes back when its time for me to change my engine oil at about 5,000 miles. I had them reset the master learning module years ago when I first experienced this. Then I was able to get a sound...
  12. 2019 Mustang gt (OIL LIFE CAPACITY)

Best way for you to know? Just reset it and change your oil. Now you know.
  13. Rattle update 2018 GT

OP. Did they do a full engine replacement on your car? I'm going through the thread. But I wanted to ask. What exactly you had done to stop that raddle? I had the same thing and could replicate hovering at 2000 rpm and letting off and the dealer I bought from took care of it. With the cam...
  14. TSB 19-2140 - 5.0 Engine Chirping Noise

Have them test your passenger side VVT exhaust solenoid. Rev the motor to 2k and then let off. You'll be able to replicate the sound for the service team. They'll have to do a full replacement. But that solved the issue for me and the car drives like a dream now.
  15. PP2 Cooling Upgrades? Per criticism…

Would love to know if anyone has done personal cooling projects to their PP1's.
  16. Tire Wear Inside Only

Wanted to add. I've nearly chewed through my 2nd front pair of tires. I decided since these fronts with the PP1 keep chewing. I'm not spending big money for the front wheels. HOWEVER. I'm just over 40K miles and the rears are still going strong. Probably another winter with them.
  17. Bad Exhaust VVT Solenoid / Since I bought the car and finally looked into it at 40,000 miles.

I have that document from them. I just didn't post it. Full frontal cover and head cover removal with new gaskets for the whole system. With the two VCT Solenoids being on the parts list as well. I'll dig it out and post it if I can find the time.
  18. Mustang making loud tic noises coming near the top.

AND I still get a slighttttest little sound but compared to the original sound it dispurses immediately compared to what would go one for much longer. I can't tell ya enough how much different the car feels now with pulls and low throttle coasting. The ECU just feels it out and the shifts on the...
