Currently sitting at about 28k miles and drive every day about 80 miles up and down the interstate. I have an Unleashed tune and MMR intake but otherwise the car is pretty much stock. Any suggestions on what I should do to it next to improve drivablity and possibly fuel economy? I currently average about 29.4 MPG which I am happy with but the more the better.

I was leaning towards a bigger intercooler but I wasn't sure how much benefit I'd get considering the car is driven mostly on the highway going 70+ mph.

Intercooler and one step colder spark plugs You'll see a nice difference. Even at highway speeds it can't cool quick enough with the stock one. When I had a tune and stock intercooler. I was fast for about 15 minutes then heat soak comes in. Now after upgrading I'm consistent pretty much the whole damn time driving and can maintain higher boost and timing as well.

Those 2 mods mentioned above is good. A catch can is what I would suggested.

I did the cooler plugs when I tuned it so maybe I'll go for the intercooler and catch can next.

Thanks guys

A bit off topic but what is your wheel/tire/suspension set up? Have you thought about exhaust work? resonator delete or a cat/axle back?

It's the FR500 replica set from LMR with Eibach Sportlines. Rides real nice and never has rubbed on me so I'm happy with them.

I thought about exhaust but considering it's a 4 cylinder and from the sound clips I've heard...I just can't handle that tone.

The exhaust is tricky, but it can sound ok. Pretty happy with my setup (MF Street). Get an intercooler, and dual valve catch can.

I've looked at the MBRP Race, and really like it. I came from the tuner world so I've always liked 4 cylinder exhausts vs v8 though. To me this is just America's take on a modern Nissan S chassis, FR layout, 4 cylinder turbo, medium-long wheel base.

Intercooler FTW!! We are currently running a great deal on Lethal Performance Brand intercoolers! Just use coupon code "ECOBOOST" at checkout to receive 15% OFF! We also have resonator deletes, off road downpipes and complete turbo upgrade systems. This is Lethal Performance Brand Products for the Ecoboost.

INTERCOOLER IS A MUST!!! Same with Oil Catch Can, I'd also recommend charge pipes and definitely a Catted Downpipe (HFC).

Sure the others commented as well, but I had to stress the intercooler, since ours is designed for a car like an Escape with around 240-250hp, not 310
