Wished it a happy 10th birthday.

Gestation and delivery over, it arrived at my dealer 10 years ago today.

Great!

If I ruled the world, all '18+ S550s would require a hood transplant to get rid of the terrible factory S-curve. Of course, if I ruled the world, the S curve would never have happened.

Finally fixed a nagging coolant leak. Replaced the engine coolant T connector, then did a coolant flush and oil change.
Coolant flush is next on my list. Did you just do a drain and fill or did you actually flush it with distilled water and then refill?

Did a crap load this weekend on the Bullitt. Put it up on my Quick Jacks and got busy. Changed out DIff, Trans and engine oil. Car had 27K miles when I bought it a month ago. The diff and trans fluids were probably stock. They were dark but no glitter or any metal so that was cool. Engine oil looked good, could have went longer on it, but I figured it's spring-start fresh. Swapped over my new rims and Nittos and then cleaned up the car. Bronze with the Highland Green works nice. 285/35/19 +35mm on all four corners, square setup fits perfect flush.

Emptied the catch can and cleaned the intake filter at lunch. Exciting stuff LOL. Also inspected my summer tires, going to have to get new ones. Found 3 nails, 2 of them in the sidewall. Was going to have to replace them after this season anyways, down to 5 & 6/32

Drained coolant, filled with distilled water and Radiator Flush, ran it for about 30 mins. Drained the water out, then topped it off with the new Motorcraft Yellow.

Dropped her off at the detailers today. Should get her back by Saturday or Monday at the latest. I'll post pics when I do. ALso, they had a black 2014 RTR Mustang they were just finishing up on while I was there. It looked amazing!

Well, it's going to be Monday. The detailer texted me today that he was still working on the polish as he wasn't satisified with it yet. I'm just glad hes taking the time to do it right.

I just ordered NGK 6509 plugs and a set of new coils Motor craft DG542. Calimer just sent an email letting me know that my transmission is on the way. I should be busy in a week or so.

Installed MGW x-spec shifter, Steeda h-pipe, Steeda braces, Steeda stop the hop kit, Steeda minimum drop lowering springs, did a trans drain & fill with BG fluid, Steeda vertical links and got an alignment! 10 hours is what it took us.

Wow! What a difference!! The car feels fantastic now!! I'm ready for the supercharger install now.

Hit the start button for the first time in almost 5 months. It reached the high 50’s and as soon as the tires hit 50 I let it idle until good oil temperature and off we went. Did two 45 minute drives.

It wasn't today but recently replaced both axle seals in the diff. My son is a mechanic so was able to use a hoist. It was straight forward job, just nuts and bolts but it took a big jolt to get the shaft out of the diff. I don't know if I could of done that from under the car on stands. I changed the thrust washers while I was at it.
